The legendary Novak Djokovic has managed to reach his seventh consecutive quarter-final after blowing away Botic van de Zandschulp in the round of 16 of the Astana Open on Thursday.

The 35-year-old has been in impeccable form as of late. After losing to Felix Auger-Aliassime in the Laver Cup, the Serbian superstar has not lost a set in his last six matches. After comprehensively defeating Cristian Garin in the first round, Djokovic has made light work of Botic van de Zandschulp in the second round. The 21-time Grand Slam champion won the match 6-3, 6-1.

The world No. 34 put on a little bit of a fight in the first set but the second set was all about Djokovic and his mastery. The veteran finished the match in just 71 minutes. Djokovic notched up his 13th consecutive win on the tour and will now square off against Karen Khachanov for a place in the semi-finals.

Djokovic served up 5 aces and didn’t commit a single double fault during the lopsided encounter. He had a win percentage of 80 on the first serve compared to just 57 for his opponent.
