Fans believe that Stephen Curry is going to win yet another NBA Championship in the upcoming season as the Golden State Warriors superstar geared up in the start of season photoshoot.
Stephen Curry is widely regarded as one of the best players in the game right now, and some would even argue for his case as one of the greatest players of all time. Curry’s influence on his generation and his decorated career that includes four NBA Championships and two MVP awards help his argument as one of the best – and his argument might grow stronger still.
A fifth NBA Championship might help Curry’s argument to be named in the conversation for the greatest basketball players of all time and help him join a very exclusive list of NBA legends with five or more titles. The list contains some of the biggest legends of the game in Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant.
Curry will look to cement his legacy alongside some esteemed company with a fifth ring – and a successful title defense with the Golden State Warriors in the upcoming season will do just that. And the NBA community are backing Curry’s chances to go back to back for the second time in his career – as he posed in his uniform in the start of season photoshoot.
What did the NBA community have to say about Curry’s Championship odds?
The NBA community on social media showed their backing for Curry in his attempt to win a fifth Championship ring.
The 34 year old took to his Instagram account to post a set of snaps from the customary start of season photoshoot, captioned “Back like we never left #Year14.” And the comments on the post were enough to know how much Curry’s fans believe in him to defend the Championship.
While one fan commented “Run it back for #5” with a goat emoji, replies like “Another ring on the way”, “I’m ready for #5 chef” and “Another season, another ring” swarmed the comment section of the post.
Curry will certainly hope to prove his fans right by winning his fifth ring, and helping the Golden State Warriors to a successful title defense.
