The 21-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic will be seen in doubles action at the upcoming Tel Aviv Open which commences on September 26.
Novak Djokovic is rarely seen playing in doubles events. The 35-year-old played his last doubles match in the Paris Masters last year. He teamed up with compatriot Filip Krajinovic and went down to Filip Polasek and John Peers in the round of 16.
Djokovic, in all likelihood, will be teaming up with Israel’s Davis Cup captain, Jonathan Erlich, in the Tel Aviv Open. The legendary Serbian will also be seen in the singles event of the ATP 250 competition. Erlich will be hanging up his boots after the tournament and teaming up with one of the best players of all time will certainly be a great way to go out.
Journalist Marc Stein tweeted that Djokovic will partner with Jonathan Erlich to play in the upcoming tournament to be held in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Djokovic will have fond memories of teaming up with Erlich as they won the doubles event at the Queen’s Club Championships in 2010. This is the only doubles title that the 2022 Wimbledon champion has in his impressive trophy cabinet to date.
