Far Cry 6 will feature the return of the infamous villain from Far Cry 3, and you’ll get to play as him! This new DLC is chaotic, strange, and fantastic all at the same time, and players are eager to check it out for themselves. Vaas: Insanity is the first of three DLC episodes that will each focus on a former Far Cry antagonist, delving deep into their psyches.

Vaas: Insanity, the first premium expansion for Far Cry 6, will be released on November 16. It’s part of the $39.99 post-launch season pass, which delves further into the minds of the open-world game’s most twisted characters.

Vaas Montenegro is a secondary antagonist in Far Cry 3, however he serves as the game’s main adversary during the first half of the plot. He was Jason Brody’s and Dennis Rogers’ archenemy, and he is the game’s main key art figure, appearing in several promotional materials. According to Ubisoft, the DLC will be a rogue-lite in which you will “start with nothing more than a pistol to defend yourself.” “To become stronger and progress deeper into Vaas’ psyche, players will need to locate new weapons and earn power-ups.”
Episode 2: “Pagan: Control” and Episode 3: “Joseph: Collapse,” the last DLC installments, will be released in January 2022 and March 2022, respectively. Each DLC aims to provide players a greater understanding of each villain’s backstory, personal demons, and motives. Even if you don’t buy the game, you can play the three DLC episodes solo or in co-op with a friend.
The antagonists in the Far Cry series are a key strength of the entire franchise. Over the years, Ubisoft has amassed a superb roster, and the continuing fascination with these characters has made content like the Far Cry 6 season pass seem irresistible. Choosing to focus on these characters’ mental states as the material could result in some genuinely unusual storytelling possibilities.
