The football season is ending soon and the FIFA 22 release date is right and here is all we know about the demo and more
The latest instalment of the FIFA series will be coming this fall. Fans are excited about the new game. They will start to drop more information about the game in the offseason. Let’s break down all the information that we have.
The official release date for the FIFA 22 is October 1. It will be simultaneously released on PC, PS5, Xbox Series S and Google Stadia. You can start playing the game from September 27 if you pre-order the ‘Ultimate Edition.’ The EZ Play subscribers also get a free 10 hour trial of FIFA 22 starting on September 22.
EA releases the demo usually in early September. But last year, EA cancelled the FIFA 21 demo as they wanted more time to focus on developing the game. Since the Covid restrictions have eased off in most parts of the world, fans are hopeful that EA will release the demo this year. As of now, there is no official news about the demo version of the game.
They have only released one trailer for the new game. It is expected that they will release new trailers with gameplay footage as we approach the release date.
EA has confirmed that the French football player Kylian Mbappe will be on this year’s version of the game as well. Kylian Mbappe was also the cover star of FIFA 21.
EA took a big step to improve the gameplay by outfitting 22 players with Xsens suits. These suits will capture real-time motion to create the intensity of a football match. HyperMotion could be a game changer for the FIFA franchise. But only the next-gen consoles and Google Stadia will get to experience the new technology. EA has received a severe backlash from PC gamers.
The Ultimate Team mode is the most popular mode in the game. It will receive a new item called Hero Card. The hero cards celebrate football’s most memorable players and moments. The total number of heroes hasn’t been confirmed as of yet.
Only nine heroes have been confirmed so far- Mario Gomez, Tim Cahill, Diego Milito, Jorge Campos, Fernando Morientes, Sami Al-Jaber, Robbie Keane, Abedi Pele and Clint Dempsey. FUT 22 will also redesign the Division Rivals and FUT Champions to create a “more accessible way to test your skills and progress against other players”.
Fans have accused EA of neglecting the Career mode and focusing on FUT. In response to that, EA has promised that significant changes will be made to the Career mode. The biggest one announced is the ability to create your own club instead of having to pick a real-world team.
EA will announce more details of the upcoming game as we approach the release date. Stay tuned for more updates.
