EA dropped the new trailer with some gameplay footage and the new changes that are coming to the franchise and here is a breakdown of the trailer for FIFA 22
A whole new set of features and technology has been introduced in the upcoming FIFA 22. It was announced in the new gameplay trailer released by EA on July 29. According to EA, FIFA 22 will offer the most authentic football experience ever.
The developers have improved the in-game tactics and the player movement as a whole team. The defence tactics have been updated to give a realistic experience of football.
The new FIFA 22 will have improved player movement using the Hyper Motion Technology. EA has used Xsens suits to capture the intensity of a real professional football match. They collected about 8.7 million frames of motion capturing data from a 11v11 high intensity football match. They used this data along with advanced machine learning algorithms for the first time in the game’s history. The new features elevate the gameplay experience significantly.
EA has been able to bring the Full team authentic motion feature by motion-capturing a football match played by professionals. This has greatly increased the dynamics of the game. The developers have includes over 4000 new animations that raise the physicality, responsiveness and intensity of players.
Learning from more than 8.7 million frames from Advanced 11v11 Match Capture, the ML – Flow machine learning algorithm writes new animations in real-time. This enables players to better adjust their stride and running cadence on approach to the ball to control or strike it more smoothly.
The new Tactical A.I. feature makes every player movement smarter on the field. Players can process up to 6 times more decisions made per second than the previous FIFA titles. Attackers can now react more quickly giving an efficient finish. The defensive line is more composed which is good at maintaining its shape.
Kinetic Air Battles offer players to experience life-like duels among the footballers with the improved intensified animations.
The Composed Ball Control feature includes two touch animations. This helps players to take control of the ball quickly in their stride and give it a more realistic feel.
The Player Humanization feature has been introduced where players can see footballers giving instructions all around the match like in real life. With the help of advanced 11v11 match capture, new animations feel more real. Players can see the emotion of professional footballers trying to talk, point and give directions on the field.
The goalkeeper has been completely rebuilt from scratch. It now offers a more realistic positioning and whole new animations which define the personality of the professional keepers.
The developers have used real world data to include true ball physics in the game. This includes point of contact, airspeed, drag and many more factors.
FIFA 22 also has a new feature called Explosive Sprint. This offers players more control while unleashing the acceleration of the footballers when required.
EA also introduced new attacking tactics for players to explore. Players can make specific decisions about their attack strategy for each half.
Immersive Matchday Experience brings new dynamic lighting, an immersive atmosphere and also a new commentary team.
Bigger goal moments also include new kinds of celebrations for world class footballers. This is a new quality of life improvement.
FIFA 22 comes out on October 1. The players who have pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition can get early access from September 27.
