Fire Force Season 3

This anime adaptation is based on the manga of the same name, set in a future where spontaneous human combustion has separated humans into Infernals and Pyrokinetics.

Release Date

Fire Force fans were overjoyed when it was confirmed on May 16, 2022, that it will return for its third season. Since then, they’ve eagerly anticipated this exciting development!

As both seasons of this anime premiered during summertime, it is expected that its third installment will follow suit and also debut during this time frame. While we do not yet know when exactly production of its new season will commence, production has already started.

Plotwise, the third season will pick up where its predecessor left off – specifically by adapting chapters 174-185 of volume 20 of Atsushi Ohkubo’s manga series. This gives viewers another opportunity to witness Shinra Kusakabe and his team as they fight against White Clad and its sinister plans for humanity.

Although no official announcement has been made, it’s believed that most of the staff from previous seasons will return for season three. Tatsuma Minakawa will direct and original studio staff such as Kazuhiro Miwa (chief animator of series) and Kenichiro Suehiro (composer) will likely all work on it together – all good signs that this third season of the show will be well worth watching!

Cancellation Status

Recently, it wasn’t sure if Fire Force would return for another season of anime series; but then a tweet from its official Twitter account confirmed this possibility with an image showing Sharp-toothed Shinra Kusabake posing after one of her attacks and also confirmed the series would be receiving another season.

Unfortunately, no release date for season three has yet been set; nevertheless, fans remain hopeful. According to sources, makers have decided to bring back most of the cast and crew for this new installment, continuing the story from where season 2 left off – thus making season three likely adhere more closely with its source material than ever.

The series was adapted from Atsushi Ohkubo’s manga of the same name and first made its debut in September 2015 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. Since then, an English translation was completed, as well as an anime adaptation produced by David Production and premiered both seasons of episodes between July 2019 and December 2020.

Yuki Yase left the studio after directing season one and was replaced by Tatsuma Minamikawa, an episode director for Shaft who had also directed on Monogatari series.

News of its third season’s announcement sparked immense anticipation among its supporters, reigniting their excitement for its thrilling storyline. While speculation abounds regarding when the third season might arrive, fans should exercise patience until an official date from its creators.

Fire Force’s third season should pick up where its second left off, delving deeper into the mystery behind Adolla Bursts and uncovering their origins, along with delving further into the dark secrets of White Clad. Shinra Kusakabe, a young pyrokinetic, will join his fellow Company 8 members to fight evil from within and protect humanity – with many thrilling battles yet heartwarming moments expected along the way!

Kenjirou Okada, best known for helming other action-packed shows such as Blend S and Gundam Build Divers Re: RISE, is believed to be directing this season of High Energy anime. His reputation for creating intense battles and captivating stories makes him sure to meet expectations of viewers of this high-energy show. Plot

Fire Force season 3 remains under development despite not receiving official word, according to its Twitter account. Fans were asked over a year ago by David Production to stay tuned for updates, suggesting they will likely return for another round of heart-pounding action in this anime series.

The anime is based on Atsushi Okubo’s manga of the same name; however, not all of his work has been fully adapted into season two of Fire Force, potentially delaying its release until season 3.

If the studio decides to go ahead with production of season three, production should start sometime during spring or summer. David Production, known for their work on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series, had animated seasons one and two; due to other projects already in progress at David Production, it may delay release of season three.

Fire Force’s third season continues the story of Company 8 members fighting against the White Clad. After the second season ended, Captain Obi was captured by them; however, Shinra and her team managed to rescue him thanks to an adolla link obtained by Shinra and use this resourceful tactic in order to free him. Subsequently, allies will be formed across Tokyo in preparation for an ultimate battle between them and White Clad forces.
