Football is undoubtedly the most popular sport in the world. The beautiful game has fans all across the world. People from different regions of the world are fans of football. In fact, people from different sports as well. In this article, we will take a look at football teams that some of the Formula One drivers support.

Max Verstappen

Who better to start with than the 2021 F1 world champion. Verstappen is a huge fan of his home country’s club PSV. PSV is one of the biggest clubs out of the Netherlands. The Dutchman also likes to play FIFA in his free time, he was seen playing the game with Frenkie De Jong, a Dutch international and FC Barcelona player a while ago.

Lewis Hamilton

The most successful driver in F1 is a big fan of Arsenal. Hamilton has been supporting Arsenal since a young age and has been seen repping the Gunners’ jersey multiple times. Hamilton’s favorite club is certainly going through a rough patch right now but the Brit’s love for the club has not decreased because of it.

Daniel Ricciardo

Mclaren driver Ricciardo likes to keep an eye out for Machester United. Even though the Australian might not be nearly as big of a fan of the sport as compared to others, he still follows the sport a little bit.

Sebastian Vettel

Four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel supports his home country’s club Eintracht Frankfurt. Frankfurt plays in the top division of German football. However, they have not been very successful while compare to the likes of other German football clubs.

Fernando Alonso

Alonso is a huge fan of Real Madrid. The two-time world champion has been following Real Madrid since he was a young kid. Alonso also takes time out to go attend the team’s game. Moreover, he received a customized jersey from Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez a while ago as well.

Carlos Sainz

Just like Alonso, Sainz also hails from Spain and is a huge fan of Real Madrid. It was revealed in the Netflix series Dare to Survive that Sainz and his family are big Los Blancos supporters. They watch the team’s games together whenever they can.

Pierre Gasly

Gasly is also like most of the other racers on the list, following a team from his own country. Gasly is a big supporter of the biggest club out of France, PSG (Paris Saint Germain). The 25-year-old has been supporting PSG for a while now.
