Andreas Pereira is set to leave Manchester United, but where can he go?

With six appearances under his belt this season, Andreas Pereira has had a relatively uneventful season. As a result, Metro.com has revealed that he has already started talks on a potential move away from Old Trafford with Brazilian giants Santos more than ready to sign him. The report further adds that Andreas Pereira’s father is pushing the move, as he wants his son to get more opportunities for first-team football.

Despite making just two Premier league starts prior to Jose Mourinho’s sacking, Manchester United and their fans shouldn’t think about offloading the talented youth product. While clubs outside the Premier League certainly want the 22-year-old, there are clubs inside the Premier League who also want the Belgian star either on loan or something more permanent.

#3. Fulham

The Cottagers have had a terrible season so far, with things improving slightly under Claudio Ranieri since the former Leicester City manager took over. While their defensive issues have been widely noted, having conceded 43 goals within 19 games, they’ve struggled offensively as well. Fulham have depended heavily on Aleksandr Mitrovic this season and while the Serbian has responded by scoring 7 goals, he needs more service.

Bringing in Andreas Pereira would be a potential solution and letting the 22-year-old roam free in the final third could make a big difference. His creative abilities are well noted and combined with his ability to play across the attacking midfield line as a winger, he seems like a brilliant choice.

#2. West Ham United

Manuel Pellegrini signed Jack Wilshere to add more creativity to his side, alongside the already present Robert Snodgrass. But the former Arsenal man has suffered from multiple injuries that have once again halted any progress he could have made this season. But to make things worse, this has caused major problems for Pellegrini as his side has struggled to score goals.

While signing a striker will be on the former Manchester City manager’s agenda for the January window, Andreas Pereira would be a brilliant replacement for Wilshere. The 22-year-old has an eye for a pass and while he doesn’t score too many goals, that could most certainly change in the near future under Pellegrini.

#1. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Nuno Espirito Santo is chasing a Europa league spot and while it may have seemed like a pipe dream at the start of the season, Wolves have more than a chance now. They sit 11th on the table right now with 26 points after 19 games. Provided Nuno is able to sign a few solid players in January, the newcomers will actually have a chance of realizing their European dreams.

However, like Fulham and many others, Wolves have struggled offensively with Raul Jimenez being their top scorer with five goals with right-back Matt Doherty sitting in second place. This has proven to be a major roadblock for the Molineux Stadium side as they’ve scored only 20 goals in 19 games.

Adding Andreas Pereira would provide creativity and versatility to their side. Given that Nuno prefers playing with a back-three, the 22-year-old could receive opportunities to break into the first team.
