Former UFC star Demetrious Johnson is ready for his next fight and it is against one of the top Brazilian stars.
ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong posted an update on his Twitter account and revealed that the fight between Johnson and Moraes would take place on 11 April.
The CEO also posted huge news that ONE Championship will host 50 events in 2020 and smashed the record of 42 from the previous year.
Johnson retweeted the news on his Twitter account and the former UFC star seems set to continue his winning ways in his new promotion.
The 33-year-old lost the UFC Flyweight title in his last fight with the promotion. Henry Cejudo beat him at UFC 227 and Johnson was traded to ONE after that.
Might Mouse, as Johnson is called, has been on a three-match winning streak at ONE. He also came out on top in the ONE Championship Flyweight Grand Prix and would want to pick up his first title at the new promotion.
Johnson has a record of 30 wins and three losses from his 34 fights, and it will be interesting to see how he does against Moraes.
Mighty Mouse had 11 successful Flyweight title defences during his time at UFC before making the switch.
The 30-year-old Brazilian lost the ONE Flyweight title at ONE Championship: Pinnacle of Power to Geje Eustaquio but he reclaimed the crown at his next shot in 2019.

The Brazilian has a record of 18 wins and three losses from his 21 matches, and has been part of the ONE brand since 2013.
