Since 1985, the circuit has been the venue for the Belgian Grand Prix each year, except for 2003 and 2006 when it did not host the event.
The track is designed with a total of 20 turns and holds an FIA Grade 1 license, allowing it to meet the highest standards for racing circuits. Furthermore, it can accommodate up to 70,000 spectators.

As for the constructors, Ferrari takes the lead as the most successful team with an impressive 18 wins in total. Notably, the official race lap record for this Grand Prix was set by Valtteri Bottas during the 2018 edition, with a lap timing of 1:46.286.
