Here’s a look at the 2022 Singapore GP preview, schedule, live stream details and our predictions for the race at the Marina Bay Circuit
The Singapore Grand Prix is one of the most-awaited races in the Formula 1 calendar each year. It takes place at the Marina Bay Street Circuit and was the inaugural night race and first street circuit in Asia for F1 races. The Singapore GP 2022 is scheduled to take place from 30 September to 2 October, as F1 action resumes after a week-long break.
The Marina Bay Street Circuit is a 5.063 km long track in a harbourside location similar in style to the Circuit de Monaco and the Valencia Street Circuit. The circuit holds a unique record of having at least one safety car appearance in every race to date. It is an FIA Grade I licensed circuit with a crowd capacity of 90,000.
Sebastian Vettel is the most successful driver in the history of the Singapore Grand Prix with a record five wins to his name. Ferrari and Mercedes are the joint most successful constructors with four wins each. Interestingly, Kevin Magnussen’s lap timing of 1:41.905, while driving a Haas VF-18 in the 2018 Singapore Grand Prix is the official race lap record at this GP.

Max Verstappen could very well seal his F1 championship crown at the Marina Bay Circuit. However, he will certainly be tested by the likes of Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Sergio Perez. P1 for Verstappen, P2 for Perez and P3 for Sainz is our prediction for the weekend.
