Alpine F1 have parted ways with their advisor Alain Prost and have already found a replacement in Flavio Briatore
It was recently revealed that former F1 racer Alain Prost has stepped down from his position as an advisor from Alpine F1. Now, as per the recent reports. Flavio Briatore will be replacing the outgoing Prost. Briatore has had quite a history with the Renault team, which is now Alpine.
Briatore served as the managing director for the team before being banned from the sport. It was believed that he might not return to F1 but the latest reports have suggested the opposite. A statement released by Spanish newspaper Marca talked about the possibility of Briatore’s return to F1.
“Now there is a ‘job’ free as a consultant after Alain’s departure and even if Alpine through the CEO has declared that it does not need consultants, it is a scenario that cannot be excluded.”
