The Olympic Esports series has made its debut this year and there are many events already underway. There are several games involved in this event but Fortnite is the most anticipated one.
The Olympic Esports event has been created by the International Olympic Committee and game publishers, the global competition has 10 categories of sports for players to take part in. The event is all set to take place in Singapore from June 22 to 25,2023. The other titles that are going to be a part of this event are CSGO, League of Legends, Rocket League, Tic Tac Bow, Just Dance, and Fortnite.
Now let’s see what Fortnite has to offer in the Olympics Esports Week 2023.
The International Olympics Committee has added Fortnite to Olympic Esports Week. This is for the first time that Esports has been added as an official sport in the Olympics Esports Series which will come to an end in June.
This event will have 12 players from the FNCS 23 circuit who will be invited to Singapore to compete in a specially designed Fortnite Island.
However, this event of Fortnite differs from the standard Fortnite gameplay that players experience. This gameplay will focus on simulating a sport shooting competition. 12 competitive players from the Fortnite championship will be invited to take part in this event.
For this challenge, the ISSF has created its own Island in Fortnite as mentioned above. This idea is aimed at making players compete based on their target Aiming accuracy and navigating skills.
Many players have come par the qualifying round and by the end of the month of June, we will have our winners of the first edition of Olympic E-Sports Week.
