Edgar then moved to the featherweight division and started off with a unanimous decision loss against Jose Aldo at UFC 156.
But, he bounced back with five successive wins, earning an interim featherweight title bout against Aldo himself.
Aldo earned a unanimous decision win in the rematch.
Following a loss against Max Holloway at UFC 240 (for the featherweight belt), Edgar moved to the bantamweight division.
Since then he has won one and lost two.
