Steveson’s next tourney was the 2018 US World Team Trials. He made it until the finals before losing to Tony Nelson.

At the 2019 US World Team Trials, Steveson exacted revenge over all of the opponents who had beaten up previously. He beat Dom Bradley, Adam Coon and Tony Nelson to make it to the finals where he lost against Nick Gwiazdowski. Steveson placed 2nd.

At Medved International in Belarus, Steveson won the silver medal. He followed it up with a gold at 2019 Bill Farrell Memorial beating Bradley, yet again, this time in the final.

Steveson won the 2020 US World Team Trials, this time beating Gwiazdowski in the final.

He ran through his opponents at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which included victories over Taha Akgul and Aiaal Lazarev.

In the finals, he was a bit shaky, but Steveson still managed to win the Gold medal at the 125kg men’s freestyle event.

Steveson’s freestyle wrestling record reads 35 wins and 6 losses.

Besides this, his NCAA Wrestling record is impressive as well. Of the 69 contests he has competed in, he has won 67 of them, losing just 2.
