Leeds United vs Millwall predictions: Leeds United Line-up

Leeds United will resume their Championship duties on Saturday as they welcome Millwall to the Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa has been a massive hit at Leeds since taking the reins last summer, with the Whites third in the Championship and well in the hunt for Premier League promotion. But he’ll have to pick up his team and prepare them well for the Millwall visit after the Whites fell to a 1-0 defeat against Sheffield United.

As for Millwall, they have won just once in their last five games and are pure underdogs in Saturday’s game.

Team News

Pontuss Jansson is sidelined with a knee injury sustained during the defeat to Sheffield United. He will be out for a couple of weeks. Kemar Roofe is nearing the end of his recovery from the knee ligaments injury.

Goalkeeper Kiko Casilla will serve a one-match ban following his red card against Sheffield United.

Probable Leeds United XI

Formation: 4-1-4-1

Manager: Marcelo Bielsa

Bailey Peacock-Farrell (GK)

With Casilla suspended, Peacock-Farrell will get a chance in goal on Saturday.

Luke Ayling (RB)

Ayling is Leeds’ first-choice at right-back and he is expected to start this game against Millwall.

Gaetano Berardi (CB)

Berardi has played very little this season and he will be looking to take utmost advantage of Jansson’s injury and nail down a place in the team.

Liam Cooper (CB)

A leader at the back, Cooper’s defensive know-how and experience warrants a place in the team.
