The Game Awards 2021 were unlike any other video game awards presentation we’ve ever seen. Some of the year’s most popular and well-received games competed for Game of the Year, while others took home honors in specific categories such as Best Ongoing, Best Narrative, and Best Art Direction. Only one game could win Game of the Year at the end of the day, and that game was It Takes Two, one of the year’s biggest indie darlings.
