The Gamescom 2022 has begun, and as has been custom, the event began with a tonne of incredible trailers that you should not miss.
This year’s Gamescom 2022 has been started on August 23 and will go through August 28 at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. It will also have online elements that you can follow via a live stream. Lots of details about the games were showcased and the gamers saw lots of new trailers as well. Hogwarts Legacy Dark Legacy trailer
Introducing a new trailer for the open-world game set in the Harry Potter universe’s past. Players will be able to blast zombies as they dabble dangerously in the Dark Arts. The game is releasing on February 10, 2023.
Honkai: Star Rail Nightmare trailer
Here’s a new trailer for the latest game from the Hoyoverse. This one is a 3D tactical RPG. The mystery that will be used to draw higher-ranking characters, just like in Genshin.
The Lords of the Fallen
Lords of the Fallen is a reboot of the 2014 soulslike game set more than a thousand years after its original events. You can customize your character and explore the grim fantasy world alone or in co-op online. The release date has not been announced yet.
Moving Out 2
Getting your van packed up with items as quickly and chaotically as you can is the goal of this sequel to 2020’s Overcooked-style cooperative house-moving game. The game will probably release next year.
Under the Waves
Parallel’s solemn game explores the ocean depths as a man deals with his grief as he explores it. The game takes place in a “techno-futuristic” setting in the 1970s as Stan investigates unusual underwater disturbances for an oil company. Surfrider Foundation Europe has collaborated with the game to promote ocean conservation.
Moonbreaker
There is something funny about this digital miniatures game by Unknown Worlds, developer of Subnautica. It was surprising to find out that Brandon Sanderson crafted the world. Not only can you battle, but you can also paint your miniatures into beautiful designs. The game will be available for early access on September 29, 2022.
Gotham Knights
This new trailer shows off a few of the lead actors’ different outfits, as well as some villains such as Clayface, Freeze, and Harley Quinn. The game is due out just a little bit earlier than expected. The game is coming on October 21, 2022.
Lies of P gameplay trailer
An official first look at the gameplay of this game with souls was inspired by the Pinnocchio myth. Bloodborne-like in appearance, but with more steampunk and modern weaponry.
Everywhere
This upcoming game, from the Grand Theft Auto producer Leslie Benzies, allows players to customize game worlds, modes, and much more.
Atlas Fallen
The Surge developer Deck 13 has released a new fantasy action RPG. The trailer is mostly CGI, but at the end, there are some flashes of gameplay that seem to show sand surfing and monster fights.
High on Life boss fight trailer
This trailer shows off Justin Roiland’s upcoming talking weapons FPS in which the player jumps over lasers and hides behind boxes while slowly chipping away at their health bar as they fight a boss named 9-Torg. The game will be available on December 13, 2022.
Killer Clowns from Outer Space
It is an asymmetrical horror game based on the same-named 1988 movie. Players have the option of harvesting people as hideous alien clowns or defending themselves as a gang of survivors.
Where Winds Meet
Gameplay is based on the “twilight of the Ten Kingdoms” period in medieval China. It looks like the game includes a variety of skills, including sword fighting, water-running, and mid-somersault bow shots. According to reports, players will be able to take on a variety of roles within the world through a job system. The game will be available on October 21, 2022.
Dead Island 2
This first-person zombie survival game from the multiplayer perspective has been long, long, and even longer awaited. In addition to a blood-’n’guts-heavy CGI trailer, Gamescom 2022 revealed a short preview of gameplay, which seems to involve punching zombies in the face a great deal. The game will be available on February 3, 2023.
Dune: Awakening
In this massively multiplayer social game, players explore, survive, and interact with each other on the desert planet of Arrakis.
Gamescom 2022 PlayStation DualSense Edge
You can remap buttons, adjust stick dead zones, adjust trigger travel times, and even swap out the thumbsticks with this high-end DualSense controller. To make it even better, you can save multiple profiles so that you can switch between them as needed.
