We already know about the new characters in Genshin Impact 2.7. But the Ascension materials for Yelan have also been leaked!
New leaks of the Genshin Impact 2.7 patch are surfacing on the internet every day. Some might argue that this is bad for Hoyoverse but these leaks are also creating hype for the new characters. The new characters and their abilities were recently leaked. We even saw a glimpse of Yelan during the new story quest.
But now we have some more details about the new Hydro Bow user. If you are planning to try your luck and wish on her banner, you might need to prepare a bit. You can farm the ascension and talent materials for her to level her up completely on the first day itself. Here are all the ascension materials required for Yelan.
Yelan Ascension Materials
Yelan needs the following ascension materials to reach level 90.

- Varunada Lazurite
- Insignia
- Runic Fangs

Players will also need to farm the talent materials to level up her talents to make her actually usable. While you can level up her talents and crown them, you should wait to actually see which talents are worth leveling up before you invest. Here are all the required talent materials for Yelan.

- Level 3 – 2x Guide to Prosperity, 3x Sergeant’s Insignia
- Level 4 – 4x Guide to Prosperity, 4x Sergeant’s Insignia
- Level 5 – 6x Guide to Prosperity, 6x Sergeant’s Insignia
- Level 6 – 9x Guide to Prosperity, 9x Sergeant’s Insignia
- Level 7 – 4x Philosophies of Prosperity, 4x Lieutenant’s Insignia, 1x Gilded Scale
- Level 8 – 6x Philosophies of Prosperity, 6x Lieutenant’s Insignia, 1x Gilded Scale
- Level 9 – 12x Philosophies of Prosperity, 9x Lieutenant’s Insignia, 2x Gilded Scale

This is just to level up 1 talent to level 10. Players will most probably need to level up just her Elemental Burst and Elemental Skill since she looks like a Hydro support character. But since this information is based on the beta leaks, it is possible that it can be changed in the live version.
