The new Irodori Festival in Genshin Impact has a new fighting event called Clash of Lone Blade. Here is everything you need to know.
Genshin Impact 2.6 update came with the new 5-star Hydro character Kamisato Ayato and the new Irodori Festival. Irodori Festival takes place in Inazuma and features many favorite characters from Monstadt and Inazuma. Even the Anemo Archon himself comes to Inazuma! Just to taste the Inazuma Sake though!
There are many different min-games and events during the Iradori festival. Clash of Lone Blade Event is the only event where there is a little bit of fighting involved. Apart from that, the Theatre Mechanicus event also makes a comeback.
How to Unlock Clash of Lone Blade Event
The Clash of Lone Blades Event began on April 11, 2022, and will end on April 25, 2022, when the Hues of the Violet Garden Event finishes. You must have completed the “True Tales of the Violet Garden: Act III – A New Painting in Pale Scarlet” Event Quest to access the Clash of Lone Blades event.
Once you’ve completed that, the “Go Forth, Golden Whirlwind!” Quest will be added to your quests automatically. Visit the island northwest of Ritou and interact with Yasuhiko Tarou. He will inform the Traveler about the Clash of Lone Blades Event and invite them to take part.
How to Perfect Parry
Players will not be able to use their Elemental Burst or Elemental Skill during this event. Only the normal attacks and the new Parry mechanic will be able to deal damage. Players who have used the Electro 4-star character Beidou are at an advantage since she has a similar Elemental Skill.
To perform a Perfect Parry, you need to time it right. Right before your opponent performs their special attack, their word will start glowing. That’s the time you should use the Elemental Skill. There is a slight delay so you will need to use it slightly earlier. You can practive a bit to get the perfect score.
When a perfect parry is performed against either normal or honed techniques, a stack of valor is added to the stack, allowing the next attack to Crit and resetting the cooldown. Depending on the number of stacks, the number of stacks that you can gain during a Crit hit is changed. When a Crit connects, all stac ks are consumed, as is the amount of damage done.
Genshin Impact Clash of Lone Blades Event – Rewards
You can choose from three categories: Serious, Dire, and Perilous. The last difficulty will be only unlocked once you beat the Dire difficulty. You can obtain rewards by beating all the different difficulties. Additionally, you can get more rewards if you beat the Dire Difficulty under 75 seconds. Here is a complete list of the rewards.
