Dendro Hypostasis Attack Pattern & Playstyle
Just like the other bosses of Genshin Impact, Dendro Hypostasis has a unique technique and style. Zayin has a couple of abilities and attacks, you need to know them, then figure out its weaknesses, and only then you will be able to beat the boss.
- Lethal Whip Attacks – Whip Combos are one of the dangerous moves from the world boss. Zayin turns as a whip and inflicts severe damage, and attacks thrice. These attacks will deal 40%, 60%, and 80% ATK as AoE Dendro DMG for every 0.5 S. You need to dodge and block these to avoid damage, and these whip attacks can also drain your HP.
- Vine Jail – The boss covers the entire spot along with vine barriers, these will deal 10% ATK as Dendro DMG. Another explosion occurs after the vines go near the boss, and it deals 250% ATK as AoE Dendro DMG. Pyro will help you to negate these moves. The vines are dangerous, find a way to break them. The Pyro characters will be able to do this. Vine Jail is another powerful ability for the boss.
- Mucky Orbs – The boss unleashed 3 powerful waves of orbs, and each will deal 40% ATK as AoE Dendro DMG. You need to quickly dodge to your right whenever the boss unleashes these moves. Mucky Orbs will be the boss’ primary moves, if you manage to evade them, then the battle becomes easy.
- Plunging Attacks- The boss will turn into a large ball and is protected inside a vine shell. Then the boss unleashes projectiles and explosives that will deal 70% ATK, 70% ATK, and100% ATK as AoE Dendro DMG. Pyro will be a great strategy to overcome these moves of the boss. The large ball can inflict severe damage, protect yourself, and find ways to block these spinning attacks.
- Vine Spikes- The Dendro Hypostasis unleashes shells to the ground that will turn into 4 vines, and will deal 20% ATK as AoE Dendro DMG. More thorns will grow from the vines, and these will deal 50% ATK as AoE Dendro DMG. Use any Pyro to burn these Vines easily. After burning the Vikes, the DMG % will significantly reduce, and you can block the moves without any struggle.
