Genshin Impact Fontaine Leaks – Hydro Archon and more characters leaked

Published by

There are lots of Genshin Impact Fontaine leaks and rumors spreading around. We have discussed them below in this article.

According to recent leaks, the nation of Fontaine, which is home to Hydro elements, is set to be the next region released in Genshin Impact’s 4.0 Archon Quest Chapter IV. Among the leaked characters rumored to be from Fontaine is the Hydro Archon. While there is not much information available about this character, they have been mentioned briefly by other Archons like Zhongli and Nahida.

Genshin Impact Fontaine Leaks

According to recent leaks from genshinBLANK, the nation of Fontaine is located to the north of Sumeru and is connected to Liyue’s Qiaoying Village. Ruled by the Hydro Archon, Fontaine places a strong emphasis on justice and enforces its laws harshly. Despite this strict legal system, Fontaine is also known for valuing technology and the arts, as evidenced by its newspaper publication, “The Steambird,” which is read throughout Teyvat.

Based on descriptions from NPCs, Fontaine appears to be a technologically advanced nation with a high level of development compared to other regions of Teyvat. Its size is unclear, but given the size of the missing area between Liyue, Sumeru, and Mondstadt, it is likely a large nation. The name “Fontaine,” which means “fountain” in French, maybe a reference to the nation’s Hydro Archon and its possible inspiration from real-world France in the 1900s is suggested by the attire of its NPCs.

There has been speculation that the region of Fontaine in Genshin Impact is based in France. A leaked video in a tweet above appears to show a model of a city in Fontaine, which is attached to a vertical surface and may be located on a waterfall. This unusual design is unlikely in the real world, but Genshin Impact is set in a world of magic, so anything is possible. Some fans have theorized that the city could be divided into an upper level for the nobility and an underground level for the rest of the population.

Genshin Impact Fontaine Leaks: Hydro Archon

According to previous leaks, there are two Hydro Archons set to be introduced in Genshin Impact. The current Archon reportedly took the gnosis of the previous Archon and ascended to power, while the old Archon is attempting to regain its position. It is unclear how the player will be involved in this conflict or which side they may take. The nation of Fontaine, where these Archons are from, is expected to be released sometime between August and September 2023.

According to the Genshin Impact Fontaine leaks, the left model appears to depict Durandal from Honkai, featuring an adult female with blonde hair. The right model resembles Seele from Honkai, featuring a teenage female with blue-white hair. It is currently unclear which of these characters is the current Hydro Archon and which is the previous Archon, but it is rumored that the previous Archon wields the Geo element and has a Geo vision, while the current Archon uses Hydro and has a Gnosis.

It is also rumored that the Hydro Archon will use a Claymore, which would be a unique weapon choice among the Archons. The gold character is reportedly the leader of the Light faction, while the blue character is the leader of the Darkness/Desolation/Wasteland faction.

Other Character Leaks

In addition to the two Archons, a few more character designs have been leaked, though they are heavily censored and only their figures are visible. According to the leaks, there will be a total of 11 new characters in Fontaine, with a skewed ratio in favor of female characters, as is common in Genshin Impact. The breakdown of the models includes 5 teenage girls, 2 tall women, 1 young girl, 2 tall men, and 1 young boy.

It’s important to note that the Genshin Impact Fontaine leaks are very early and should be taken with a grain of salt, as the release of Fontaine and its associated characters are not expected until around August 2023. The leakers were also unsure whether the descriptions provided were correctly associated with the right Hydro Archon, suggesting that the information may be reversed. This information is based on leaks and has not been confirmed by HoYoverse, as it is still early in the development process.

Genshin Impact Dehya leaks

According to recent leaks, Dehya’s damage conversion in Genshin Impact is based on her maximum hit points, but all of her abilities will only scale with her attack power. Players can choose to focus on increasing Dehya’s hit points with percent-based Sands and try to get attack power as a sub-stat on other artifact pieces, or use attack power percent-based Sands and aim for hit points as a sub-stat.

It appears that Dehya’s Elemental Skill and Burst are not related, meaning that the cooldown for her skill will not reset after using her burst like it does for Yae and Eula. It is also rumored that her skill has a low frequency, potentially resulting in a long cooldown, which may not allow her to apply Pyro consistently.

Additionally, Dehya’s abilities will not be affected by defense in any way and are not centered around the Burning reaction caused by Pyro and Dendro elements. Overall, it seems that Dehya will be a powerful Pyro unit that can use both hit points and attack power to increase her damage per second.

Elemental Skill and Burst

Dehya is rumored to be an off-field Pyro damage dealer in Genshin Impact. When players use her Elemental Skill, it is said to have two different attacks. The first summons Oz, similar to Fischl’s ability, and the second causes the summon to explode and deal small area of effect damage to nearby enemies.

Dehya’s Elemental Burst is a Pyro attack that lasts for a short time and changes her Elemental Skill icon to a unique dash. Players can use the burst three times, with a short cooldown between each use, to deal Pyro damage to enemies. The burst will also end with an explosion that deals Pyro damage to nearby enemies, similar to Eula’s ability.

A leak by Niana suggests that Dehya will have a signature Claymore from the Deshret weapon series, with maximum attack power of 607 and a 33.1% critical rate at level 90. The passive and scaling of the Claymore are currently unknown.

Genshin Impact Fontaine Leaks: New Mondstadt patch

According to recent leaks from reliable sources, a Mondstadt patch will be released before players can travel to Fontaine. While the community has speculated about what the patch might include, nothing has been confirmed yet. This is not the first time something like this has happened, as a similar situation occurred before the Sumeru update was released with version 3.0.

It is likely that the new Mondstadt patch will be released in an unknown region, which some speculate might be Dornman Port. Dornman Port is a port in Mondstadt mentioned in NPC dialog and character stories, but its exact location is currently unknown. It has been described as being “too far away” from Nameless Island to reach by boat and far from the city of Mondstadt.
