In Search of Lost Time – South
Reach the Fontaine institute and meet Broglie to acquire the quest. Once you find all objectives, move to the sunken hydrology research station. Now, you have to investigate the main control room.
You have to defeat an enemy and then activate the crystal to unlock the door. Now, you have to reach the clock tower and then solve another puzzle. This will lead you to the upper level where small enemies will spawn again. Clear them and move to the next spot.
Head inside the terminal and access the hydrology research data. Finally, you have to collect a tape. Speak to the NPC again and complete this part. With this, In Search of Lost Time: West will be unlocked.
In Search of Lost Time – West
This part begins in the Liffey region of Fontaine. You have to reach the higher level of the tower in Mont Esus East. At the top of the tower, clear two Fatui enemies and progress further.
Once you clear enemies, reach the camps and look for clues. Every camp will be guarded by Fatui enemies, clear them and discover some hints. You will find paper on tables, read them to find the next set of objectives.
Next, reach the fourth floor and interact with the stabilizer. This will take you to the final phase of the quest. Whenever you find a cooking pot, hit it and it will unleash some enemies. Clear these small mobs before reaching the terminal on fifth floor. Examine the terminal and explore the entire tower locations to gather some clues. In Search of Lost Time: North
Reach the tower that’s located northwest of Fontaine institute. First, you have to reach the lower level of the tower and investigate the strange voice. While you reach the tower, defeat waves of Fatui enemies that stop your progress.
You have to activate a device and then transfer power to an energy cell. After this, you will break the barrier and reach the next level. Complete next objectives and move to the last floor. You will find the research terminal here. Interact with the device and remove unwanted mechanisms. Clear out enemies in the zone and speak to the quest NPC. This will complete the quest.
In Search of Lost Time
The final stage of this Genshin Impact quest takes place in the central part of Fontaine. Reach the central processing station and find Broglie. Examine the station and defeat the first wave of enemies here.
Next, descend down to the lower level of the tower and find the terminal. Here, you have to break the barrier and unlock a new path. You also have to generate power to the portable energy cell. Reach the other side of the tower where the river flows and here you can unlock a luxurious chest as well.
