Want to know about Genshin Impact Nilou Ascension materials? Read our Nilou farming guide to understand everything.
In the 3.1 update, Nilou was added as a 5-Star Hydro character. She is the boosted 5-Star character in her Twirling Lotus Banner. Using traditional Iranian dance attire, Nilou advocates the traditions and arts of Sumeru, supports the Dendro Archon, and opposes the Akademiya’s current values.
The Dendro Reactions will allow Nilou to use swords and take advantage of them, making her an ideal DPS choice for future content. If you want to use her, then you must be aware of the Nilou Ascension materials. In this guide, we will tell you everything about the Genshin Impact Nilou Ascension and Talent Materials.
Using Talent materials varies from character to character, so if you want to get the most out of using Nilou, you must level her skills up. To upgrade Nilou’s abilities fully, you must farm Praxis and Crystalline Cyst Dust materials. Since Nilou has three abilities, you will need to spend three times as much as the Talent materials listed below.
Nilou Talent level | Nilou Talent materials | Mora cost |
Level 2 | x3 Teachings of Praxis, x6 Fungal Spores | 12,500 |
Level 3 | x2 Guide to Praxis, x3 Luminescent Pollen | 17,500 |
Level 4 | x4 Guide to Praxis, x4 Luminescent Pollen | 25,000 |

Level 9 | x12 Philosophies of Praxis, x9 Crystalline Cyst Dust, x2 Tears of the Calamitous God | 450,000 |
Level 10 | x16 Philosophies of Praxis, x12 Crystalline Cyst Dust, x2 Tears of the Calamitous God, x1 Crown of Insight | 700,000 |
A new Mastery Domain called Steeple of Ignorance has been introduced by Genshin Impact for the second Tier of Talent Materials. Travelers will receive Stone Tables instead of Books in the domain, but they function in the same way as books. On Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, you can obtain the Praxis Series of Talent-level materials in the Steeple of Ignorance Domain.
There is one more weekly boss in the game. It is called Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto. It requires players to fight the Raiden Shogun, the puppet designed by the Electro Archon. When defeated, the Raiden Shogun will drop the Tears of the Calamitous God. Nilou requires 18 Tears for maximum talent.
In the same way as Talents, you need to upgrade Nilou’s health, attack, defense, and critical hit effectiveness with Nilou Ascension materials. In order to fully upgrade Nilou, you’ll need to farm a lot of Padisarah and Perpetual Caliber materials. As opposed to Talent materials, the following Ascension materials must only be used once for Nilou to reach her highest character level.
Reaching particular Ascension levels also comes with Acquaint Fate rewards. You can use this Fate to purchase characters and weapons from the basic and advanced Banners to Wish.
Nilou Ascension level | Nilou Ascension materials | Mora cost | Ascension reward |
Level 20 | x1 Varunada Lazurite Sliver, x3 Padisarah, x3 Fungal Spores | 20,000 | x1 Acquaint Fate |

Level 80 | x6 Varunada Lazurite Gemstone, x20 Perpetual Caliber, x60 Padisarah, x24 Crystalline Cyst Dust | 120,000 | None |
Genshin Impact 3.1 introduces the Aeonblightdrake, a new world boss who drops these components as an ascension material. Aeonblightdrake drops 2-3 pieces of these materials once defeated for a cost of 40 resins. The latest automaton is located in Sumeru’s Rain Forest’s underground cave. Level 90 Nilou requires x46 Perpetual Caliber.
The Padisarah was nearly extinct because of its challenging growth conditions and the value of its buds used as a rare spice. For Level 90 Nilou, players need x168 Padisarah, which can be purchased from NPC Jut in the Grand Bazar. There are 64 Padisarah in the wild, each of which refreshes every 48 hours.
Several types of fungi can be found in Sumeru. These enemies can be found in Rainforest Areas near cliffs, trees, and water bodies. When defeated, they drop two types of common materials. Sadly, the materials for Nilou are rarely obtained. For level 90 with Nilou, travelers need to collect 18 Fungai Spores, 30 Luminescent Pollen, and 36 Crystalline Cyst Dust.
So these were Nilou Ascension materials along with the farming guide. Follow the guide carefully to level up Nilou.
