Published by

In this Genshin Impact guide, we are going to tell you everything about the Genshin Impact Parametric Transformer and how you can use it.

During the Tianqiu Treasure Trail quest, you will come across a mysterious artifact known as a Parametric Transformer. This object can be placed anywhere and given access to deposit and transmute non-event objects. A quality of 150 or higher is required for transmutation to take place.

Up to 150 materials can be placed within and transmuted into other materials. To produce energy for the transmutation, use Elemental Attacks. It has a seven-day cooldown. To know more details about Genshin Impact Parametric Transformer, read our guide below.

How To Complete The Tianqui Treasure Trail Quest

A clue has been found in Tianqiu Valley that seems to lead to treasure, according to Lan. Accept the quest and you’ll have a location marked on your map in Tianqiu Valley that you can go to and find. As soon as you reach the Danyu Ruins, you will encounter some enemies, one of whom will drop a treasure map. You need to find it in your inventory and follow it to the mark in Danyu Ruins.

Find the books and scrolls on the map and examine them. You’ll also get three new treasure locations to visit if you find the strange note. You will receive an Exquisite Chest for visiting each of these treasure locations. Once you’ve opened all three chests, you’ll receive a strange box no matter what order you visit them. Give Lan this, and the mission will be finished. You’ll also get the Parametric Transformer as a reward.

The Gauge Meter

To fully charge up the Genshin Impact parametric transformer, 18 elemental attacks are required, including damage caused by players and damage caused by the environment. Using Bennett’s Elemental Skill’s 2B application and Diluc’s 1A application will both charge up around 5% regardless of the gauge unit of the elemental attack.

Charged Parametric Transformers have a 0.4s cooldown between charging instances. This is different from the regular internal cooldown on elemental application, which is not applicable during charging.

How to use Genshin Impact Parametric Transformer

There are a few steps that you should follow to use the Genshin Impact Parametric Transformer.

Step one

Activating the transformation requires the use of an elemental skill. This means you should not try it at random. Use the Parametric Transformer to deploy a Gadget into the open world. Once deployed, you can engage the Parametric Transformer to begin the transmutation process.

Step two

You must transmute items until you reach 150 Quality. The higher the quality, the more rare the item is. We highly recommend that you transmute items from the Common (Gray) category. Uncommon (Green) items have the same quality as Common items.

In addition, if you need to use high rarities in other ways, take advantage of easy-to-get resources, such as those sold at general goods stores. While it will cost you some Mora, you will receive better resources.

Step three

The Parametric Transformer should be charged using Elemental Attacks. Any attacks with an element will work, but Catalyst Users should be used for best results. Continue charging until the Parametric Transformer is 100% charged.

Regardless of whether the skill is charged or how long its cooldown period is, all Elemental Skills provide about five to six percent of the Parametric Transformer’s energy meter. Use characters with short cooldown periods to complete it faster.

Rewards

You can get different types of rewards using the Genshin Impact Parametric Transformer, those are:

  • Mora

Things to keep in mind

  • You’ll need a lot of items if you want to transmute once a week using the Parametric Transformer. With that in mind, it’s a good idea to collect everything you see while traveling. Even though you don’t need all those berries or that mint, the items you can turn them into are far more valuable than any other.
  • You can use more than one item type with the Parametric Transformer, so if you do not have enough mint, berries, or sweet flowers, you can use the other.
  • Primogems cannot be obtained from the Parametric Transformer. It drops ascension materials, talent books, EXP books, Mora, and Enhancement Ores.
  • After using the Parametric Transformer for the first time, you are awarded the “Transmutation Nuclide” accomplishment. You receive 5 Primogems for completing this achievement.

So this was everything about the Genshin Impact Parametric Transformer.
