Are you looking for Redcrest in Genshin Impact? Here are all the Genshin Impact Redcrest Locations with an easy farming guide.

Genshin Impact version 3.1 is here. Sumeru’s new desert was added recently, and players are already exploring it. It’s filled with cool new bosses, chests, enemies, and materials. Getting Candace the best possible ascension material is crucial.

The new 4-star Hydro polearm character is an important addition to the game. It’s not hard to farm the new Genshin Impact ascension material so we are going to share with you the Genshin Impact Redcrest Locations.

It is a Sumeru local specialty that thrives in harsh desert environments. As an Ascension material, the Redcrest can be used for Candace and possibly other characters in the future. Since it grows only among cacti, it is easy to spot. It is abundant throughout the desert, but especially abundant in Lower Setekh.

You can find Redcrests in the desert region of Sumeru by looking for cacti in the main areas and along the main roads. Finding them isn’t difficult at all. They are readily available around Aaru Village, your first stop upon starting your desert exploration. You don’t have to go far to find them.

The new Genshin Impact Redcrest can be seen in the form of a red fruit-like thing. Fortunately, the process of farming them is really simple. Keep in mind that there might be some enemies around it, but they aren’t really challenging. Just make sure you prepare your team to face the hot Sumeru sands.

Redcrests are not available from vendors at the moment, so you will have to seek them out in the Sumeru Desert. As of writing, they are also only used to ascend the 4-star character Candace, but if more uses are added to the material in the future, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to stock up on them as soon as possible.

In addition to being vibrant, Redcrests stand out easily against desert backdrops, so they are relatively easy to spot—especially at night. Be on the lookout for cacti when traveling, as they are likely to hold the red fruit. Normally, each cactus sprouts only one Redcrest, but sometimes you can find clusters of them. This fruit can only be used as an Ascension material for now and there is currently no method to grow it in the Serenitea Pot.

Those south of Aaru Village and east of the Dune of Carouses are good places to find them if you’re looking for a specific location or to set up a farming route. Although they do appear in the Hypostyle Desert, there are fewer of them there, so we recommend farming the Land of Lower Setekh first.
