Here are all the Genshin Impact Sumeru leaks. Learn about the new characters, maps, and much more exciting things.
With Sumeru part of Genshin Impact, players are eager to see how the new Dendro characters will affect the meta. Additionally, there are plenty of recent leaks that provide some insight into what’s coming. In this guide, we will give you all the latest Genshin Impact Leaks that will tell you about new characters, maps, and more.
The first leak concerns the Sumeru region’s placement within the Genshin Impact map. The first leak reveals the newly opened areas of the Genshin Impact map following version 3.0 of the game. The western portion of Inazuma is dominated by land masses from Liyue and Chasm. The eastern portion is directly east of Mondstadt, beyond the ocean but still within range of Musk Reef.
As for the second leak, it displays a Sumeru map overlaid on a larger map of Teyvat. This is probably only a small part of Sumeru, but it will be upgraded with updates following 3.0. Genshin Impact indicates the Sumeru region will have both a forest region and a desert region, so those areas should be added in updates following 3.0.
Sumeru is proving to be a very popular region with players. According to the second leak, it appears bigger than Liyue during its original release. Furthermore, players are interested in a change in the climate and environment. As of now, a hostile rainforest environment has been mentioned for draining a player’s health.
She appears to have some potential as a sub-DPS since her Elemental Skill allows her to throw down a turret that shoots electro bullets, similar to Fischl and Oz. Dori is another short female character with a design somewhat similar to Diona’s.
A leaked concept image shows the Genshin Impact Dendro Archon Kusanali as a short woman, like Diona and Klee. She is depicted in a green and brown color scheme fitting for Sumeru. She’ll be a 5-Star Dendro user, but it’s not known what weapon she’ll use. Rumor has it she will be similar to Theresa Apocalypse from Honkai Impact.
Fans of the Genshin Impact manga will recognize Collei from her leaked splash art, but now she’s one of the upcoming characters in the 4-Star race. Since she looks a lot like Amber, their kits are likely to mirror one another.
A few of Collei’s splash art features include her wielding a bow and being a “Forest Ranger in training.” Her mascot is also depicted as a hooded cat, which appears to be linked to her Elemental Burst. Furthermore, as part of her Elemental Skill, she can throw boomerangs that deal Dendro damage. Even her passive ability is said to duplicate Amber’s – reducing a player’s gliding stamina cost.
Dendro bow user Tighnari of Genshin Impact is similar to Kazuha and Chongyun in that he has a Short Male model with a Poofy Tail. Leakers also claim he will be a 5-Star. He has an elemental skill that emphasizes charged shots, but little is known about his kit. The Elemental Skill deals ranged AoE Dendro damage that brings enemies into a “state of chaos.” This allows Tighnari to charge his Charged Attacks faster. This lasts until Tighnari fires three full Charged Attacks or until the Elemental Skill ends.
There are no details on whether Cyno will be a 4- or 5-star character, but leakers say he’ll use an electro polearm. From the official art that HoYoverse has released, Cyno is a standout character. Moreover, his design differs substantially from that of the other Dendro characters, which may indicate that he lives in the desert region of Sumeru.
The unique situation of Nilou is that there is no leaked concept art for her. However, leakers describe her as a tall, redheaded female with horns. The design of her character is similar to a dancer; as for her kit, she will be a Hydro user that fits in well with Dendro characters; however, her weapon has not yet been revealed.
There is also speculation about the release of Scaramouche of Genshin Impact, one of the Eleven Harbingers and earliest known antagonists. There is very little information about his kit, but players speculate that he may become playable following the 3.0 update. However, his potential weapon and vision are still unknown.
There will be Kazuha, Klee, and Yoimiya featuring in Genshin Impact 2.8. From there, versions 3.0 onwards will be featuring new Dendro characters. The Scaramouche feature is planned to become available to all users once version 3.2 is released. As always, these predictions are not confirmed and can change depending upon future updates to Genshin Impact.
