Mihoyo is set to release Genshin Impact on the Switch soon
Genshin Impact rose to popularity as soon as it was launched in September 2020. Now Mihoyo, the studio behind this popular RPG game has also announced that it will soon be released for Nintendo Switch.
The open-world RPG game Game game Genshin Impact will be available on the handheld console, Nintendo Switch as soon as September 2020. This was announced by the developers Mihoyo.
The game Genshin Impact was inspired by a Nintendo Switch game called Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Fans of the genre are excited to play a new game on their consoles.

With the game getting its biggest update ever, they have added a bunch of new content and features. A new area called Inazuma with three new playable characters and events will be added to the Genshin Impact 2.0.
It is also reported that Mihoyo has also added some features which will help the Nintendo Switch players. So we can expect the game to be released for the Nintendo Switch really soon but we don’t have a specific release date as of now.

Nintendo Switch is the company’s latest flagship handheld console. But it is still over 4 years old. Although it is optimized for gaming, it is not as advanced as the latest android and ios devices which get better every year. This might cause an issue for the Genshin Impact. With the confirmed release of Nintendo Switch OLED, it is possible that Nintendo will also upgrade some other features.
Will Nintendo Switch Players have a cross play feature?
While it can’t be said for certain, the cross-play feature for Microsoft Windows and mobile devices runs smoothly and the new update, Genshin Impact 2.0, will also allow PS5 users the cross-platform feature. So it is fair to assume that the Nintendo Switch players will be able to play with other players using different devices.
Will Genshin Impact have a Cross Save feature?
The game’s monetization is based on the players spending money on in-game items. This system called micro-transactions or gacha games are a popular concept for mobile games.
Hence, it is reported that Mihoyo will allow cross-saving, a feature where the progress saved on one device can be carried over to the other. Players can play the game on different platforms and enjoy exploring the lands.
