Genshin Impact Windtrace Event Gameplay

Players can either create a custom Co-Op party or start matching in Co-Op Mode. The roles of rebels and hunters will be assigned to the players at random. Rebels must hide and dodge the hunter until the timer runs out, while Hunters must capture the rebels before the timer runs out. To begin, this game mode requires four players. Let’s take a look at the differences between the skills of Rebels and Hunters.

Rebels – Rebels must remain hidden at all times. They can use their Windward Arts to camouflage themselves as things and take advantage of the environment.

Hunters – The Hunters must catch the Hidden Rebels in the allotted time.

The hunters will have a variety of skills that they can employ to track down the rebels.

Players earn Windtrace coins not just when they win a game as a Hunter/Rebel, but also when they fulfil activities like gaining ‘Favors.’ Windtrace coins can be exchanged for Primogems, Weapon Enhancement Material, Hero’s Wit, and Mora in the future. During patch 1.5, travelers could get a total of 420 Primogems for 4,200 Windtrace coins, and this quantity is likely to remain the same in the upcoming rerun. Players should note that Windtrace Coins may only be collected while playing randomised games. You can’t receive Windtrace Event Coins if you’re playing in Custom Co-Op Party.

Windtrace Event 1.5 Abilities

In the original Windtrace event in 1.5, the Rebels had the following abilities:

  • Lay Bait – Place baits to confuse the Hunter.
  • Transparency – Enter a temporary hidden mode where the Hunter cannot see them.
  • Disguise – Randomly disguise as one of the specialized objects in the area.
  • Starstep – Increased movement speed for 30 seconds.

Hunters, on the other hand, used to be able to do the following:

  • Sensor Aura – Get notified if there’s a Rebel nearby.
  • Mysterious Hunch – Briefly show the direction in which Rebels can be found.
  • Capture – Removes the disguise of a nearby Rebel and captures them.
  • Imprisoning Curse – Randomly removes the disguise of a nearby Rebel and restricts their abilities for some time.
  • Insight – Marks all Rebels for 20 seconds on the map and highlights them with a blue pillar of light. The pillar of light moves with the player.
  • Hunter’s Intitution – Marks one Rebel for 60 seconds on the map and highlights them with a blue pillar of light. The pillar of light moves with the player.

Players can expect to see some similar abilities for the Windtrace rerun.

The two-player feature is still in the works, according to the developers. Before the game begins, users can choose which Windwards art they want to utilize. Also, the Windtrace Event does not allow Kamisato Ayaka and Mona to use their alternate sprint skills. We recommend using Xiao, Razor, or Kaeya to reduce the stamina consumption coset so that you can escape easily.

Make sure to participate in this event and get a lot of prizes. Furthermore, this event will undoubtedly be quite entertaining and engaging. You can also earn Mora by completing additional Windtrace Challenges.
