Xingqiu has always desired to be a hero, and he’s well-known in Genshin Impact for his passion for fantasy literature, which have encouraged him to be chivalrous and quirky since he was a child. When he isn’t buried in a book, you can find Xingqiu scouring the globe for a fantastic story to immerse himself in. Find out the best weapons and artifacts in our Xingqiu Best Build Guide.
You’ll probably be employing Xingqiu’s Hydro abilities a lot, which means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to use Elemental Reactions to cause havoc. Because Cryo and Hydro cause the Frozen reaction, one of Genshin’s greatest, Xingqiu works well with Cryo characters like Eula, Ayaka, or his friend Chongyun — just be aware that Xingqiu’s Rain Swords provide him the Wet status, making him vulnerable to the Frozen reaction.
Xingqiu also works well with any Pyro character, such as Hu Tao, Klee, or Diluc, as their Pyro attacks will combine with Xingqiu’s Hydro attacks to create the Vaporize reaction. You can also check out our Eula Best Build Guide and Hu Tao Best Build Guide.
