Ghost of Tsushima 2 hype is on the rise and is rumored to be revealed this year. Time to pick up that katana and slice and dice.
Sucker Punch Productions created the action-adventure game Ghost of Tsushima, which Sony Interactive Entertainment released. In July 2020, it was made available for the PlayStation 4.
The game tells the tale of Jin Sakai, one of the last samurai warriors, as he battles to save his homeland from the Mongol invasion and is set in the late 13th century on the Japanese island of Tsushima.
Ghost of Tsushima won praise from critics for its stunning open world, interesting fighting system, and gripping narrative. It received accolades for its breathtaking graphics, engrossing gameplay, and meticulous historical setting portrayal.
In simple, why wouldn’t the development studio, i.e. Sucker punch studios bank of the success of the first game and plan a sequel i.e. Ghost of Tsushima 2? In cases of other development studios that have huge successes on their 1st new IP, a follow up sequel was announced in the upcoming years.
For example, The Last of US 2 was announced in 2016, 3 years after the release of the 1st game, eventually releasing in 2020. If the developers are already planning to launch a sequel, this year might be the best time to announce their game, 4 years after the initial release.
The best part about Sony’s development studios is that they have enough time and resources to launch a quality title and Ghost of Tsushima 2 seems like it is in good hands. Sucker Punch studios is a well known studio for making games such as the Infamous series and as of now, Ghost of Tsushima is their most famous game.
Among the most well-known PlayStation titles that has not yet received a PC conversion is Ghost of Tsushima, and while a release date may not be set in stone, it appears quite probable that one will be revealed eventually.
So there might another case where this game will be exclusive for the PS5 and this makes it even better for the owners of the console. Maybe in the future, we might get a Ghost of Tsushima PC port but as of now, it doesn’t seem like a possibility. Still, it is great to get excited about Ghost of Tsushima 2 as it might be one of the most anticipated games PlayStation Studios might announce this year.
There is a very high chance that this game might not be released as the ending of the game have people wondering if the main character might return. Maybe a new game might be released set in the world of Ghost of Tsushima or a spin off game which takes elements from the main game. As of now, it is hard to fill the void of a Ghost of Tsushima 2 reveal.

Most Playstation titles have PC ports but not Ghost of Tsushima, so the developers plans are unclear as of now.
