West Ham looked as though they were doomed to get relegated to the Championship last season. However, manager Slaven Bilic was sacked and former Manchester United boss David Moyes was brought in to replace him. Under the guidance of the Scot, West Ham managed to finish the league in 13th place, ensuring their place for the next Premier League campaign.

The form of Marko Arnautovic was a huge relief to the Hammer’s faithful. The player enjoyed a successful campaign and relished playing as the striker, scoring 11 goals in the league.

The Hammers culminated a total of 48 goals but they conceded a whopping 68. Thus, the defence is a major area of concern for the Hammers and they are in dire need of a defender and a goalkeeper.

The departure of Manchester City goalkeeper, Joe Hart, will come as a massive blow for the London-based outfit. Hart who was on loan with the club but now, he will now return to City. Hence, West Ham need to find a new man between the sticks.
