Goddess of Victory Nikke Dorothy is an SSR rarity Burst character from the Supporter class, wielding an Assault Rifle and belonging to the Water element.
Dorothy is an SSR rarity Burst character from the Supporter class who belongs to the Water element. She’s part of the Pilgrim faction. Goddess of Victory Nikke Dorothy excels in boss killing which makes her perfect for UR, Intercept, and certain campaign stages. In this guide, we will explain to you every detail about Nikke Dorothy so that you can make a perfect build for the character.
Nikke Dorothy Skill 1 – Holy Fire
It activates as soon as the last round is fired. Impacts allies equally. The burst skill has a cooldown of 1.56%. When you fire off your final bullet in Manifestation, it will activate. Impacts allies equally. Parts of enemies take 50.68 percent damage when attacked, and this effect lasts for 5 seconds.
An incredible ability that greatly increases damage dealt to bosses using parts while also decreasing CD. Full burst rotations can be safely executed by the user with a high level of Skill 1. In addition to the nearly ongoing uptime on her half-damage debuff, pairing her with Privaty will make it even more comfy. The half additional damage from this talent functions similarly to D’s, where it is seen as a separate multiplier from “Damage taken received,” hence she is likewise a great choice to combine with Novel.
Nikke Dorothy Skill 2 – Baptism
Cooldown: 20s
This skill Impacts every enemy. Disperses 216% of your attack total damage as scorch. Distributed damage is terrible against waves of monsters, but effective against bosses. This talent isn’t great for clearing waves since the damage is split by the number of enemies on screen. When there are more enemies, each one receives less damage. Whenever Dorothy’s burst is activated, the CD of this skill is decreased from 20s to 2s (regardless of whether her burst marks a target or not).
Nikke Dorothy Burst – Paradise Lost
Affects self.
Manifestation: Changes the cooldown of Skill 2 to two seconds. Paradise Lost lasts for 10 seconds and gains Pierce for 10 sec. It affects a designated enemy.
Builds up all the damage delivered to enemies over time, then when the duration finishes, distributes that damage to all enemies. As a caster, you can only take damage up to 8900.83% of your attack total. Just a ten-second hit.
Quite unique ability with plenty of unseen mechanisms. First, we’ll look at how this talent relates to ATK bonuses. You can see in the photo that using an enemy’s buff or debuff does not improve your damage. This implies that the overall damage dealt by your Nikke’s will be unaffected by any damage buffs, full burst multipliers (1.5x), or ATK bonuses on full burst (Privaty).
Damage debuffs (Novel, Isabel) are also a part of this. What this means is that it will not boost burst damage based on OL atk% rolls or Elemental damage rolls; it will simply take basic attack and will not take into account any modifiers used by Nikke in combat.
Nevertheless, such a rule is not universally applicable. CP deficit, the maximum mark damage is directly affected by the size of the CP deficit between your team and the suggested stage. The first picture shows me competing against a stage at a level where my power is too high.
According to the CP deficit page’s math, Deficit would be 38.35%, which results in a decrease of around 65.60 percent in overall stats for Dorothy’s burst. This is clearly not an accident.
Occasionally, Dorothy’s blast can go unnoticed if your aim is slightly wrong, although this shouldn’t happen very often unless the user frequently slips or uses one hand.
The Mark
Last but not least, eliminating the target early will stop her “Mark” function. Once the Mark is destroyed, it “Snapshots” all the raptures in the field at that moment and does damage based on that. Instead of the mark causing additional damage proportional to the remaining raptures on field, any raptures slain after the mark is destroyed will be considered as “there” and will “miss” altogether. Additionally, if the mark is removed before the raptures spawn, they will not be affected and the damage dealt by the existing raptures on the field will not be decreased.
Goddess of Victory Nikke Dorothy has the ability to pierce as well from Burst. When fighting enemies that have components, this works well with her Skill 1. Her skill 1 passive has little effect on her burst as it misses some active sections and strikes just the boss’s main body.
Finally, her burst can totally evade shield units, which implies it would be feasible to finish chapters 19–22 without using MGs.

How to use Nikke Dorothy?
As a B1 20s unit that offers CDR, Nikke Dorothy is not only strong versus other bosses but also devastating against bosses with parts. She is a viable alternative to Liter on some material without sacrificing total damage, all in a cute waifu packaging. The days of having an elderly person fill your B1 position in nearly all of your team’s compositions are over. To shine even brighter against Bosses, Nikke Dorothy does require a substantial expenditure of time and energy.
Arena
As of 27 April 2023, there is a known issue when matching Nikke Dorothy with similarly skilled CS opponents might cause the match to crash and display an endless loading screen if the two teams’ compositions are relatively identical in terms of team burst creation.
If one team easily defeats the other, the contest will not end. I can’t make an informed decision on her at the moment because this glitch is affecting me directly.
Note: The developers have identified the issue and are working on a fix. An update is planned to be released soon that fixes this fault. The current remedy is to start the game over and try challenging a different person or switching up your lineup.
Campaign
Based on her burst’s high damage output, critical damage reduction, and ability to clear waves, Nikke Dorothy is a great choice for Campaign. However, at the Very High CS deficit campaign phases, her burst damage delay and absence of an ATK up boost prove to be harmful.
In these levels, it’s best to use Instant damage since stray monsters can quickly kill troops while Dorothy’s mark is removed and the burst damage is ticking. Heroes like Scarlet, Modernia, Harran, Privaty, and so on benefit greatly from Liter’s enormous attack increase when it comes to AoE clearing.
In order for the team to gain CDR, Nikke Dorothy must also keep shooting her weapon, however there are instances when this is just not feasible without incurring punishments. Hence, Dorothy isn’t meant to take Liter’s place for most high-level CS deficiencies, unless you count situations when Pierce is required or boss fights in chapters with sections.
These include Alteisen, Modernia, Laitance, and Chatterbox. Regardless, Dorothy is still a viable option, and she’ll be useful in campaign missions even with respectable CS deficits if you like to use her for standard campaign stages. (15% or less)
Special Interception
Since every boss in Special Interception has multiple parts, this unit is great. As a damage dealer and team DPS booster, her Skill 1 is invaluable. If the user is unable to withstand the machine gun barrages unleashed by Blacksmith, Nikke Dorothy can be utilized in lieu of Liter in this game mode.
