Good Omens was an instantaneous hit upon its premiere in 2019 thanks to Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s beloved 1990 novel of the same name, filled with wisecracks, incredible magic, and end of world action sequences.

Though there was never an actual sequel to the book, its showrunners included concepts for what may have been.

Michael Sheen and David Tennant return in their roles of Aziraphale and Crowley respectively for an eighth season, receiving critical acclaim for exploring morality, humor and friendship respectively.

Jon Hamm is set to join the cast as Archangel Gabriel, joining Sheen and Tennant in their unforgettable dynamic. Doon Mackichan will play Archangel Michael while Gloria Obianyo portrays Uriel. Finally, Querin Sepulveda takes on Muriel.

Both friends must come together once more in order to prevent another apocalypse and dissuade Heaven and Hell from prying into their affairs. Silent Witness star Liz Carr joins Bridgerton star Quelin Sepulveda as angel Saraqael while Quelin Sepulveda portrays Muriel.

Subscribers of Amazon Prime can anticipate more of Sheen and Tennant’s charming yet hilarious comedy when their series returns this fall.
