Hardy’s next assignment was at the Dana White Contender Series 16. This time Hardy needed just 17 seconds to dispatch his opponent.
On the 19th of January, 2019, Hardy made his UFC debut. Unfortunately it did not turn out to be the debut he would have wanted it to be. He was disqualified after illegally kneeing Allen Crowder.
Hardy then bounced back with back-to-back wins. He then beat Ben Sosoli, via. unanimous decision. However, the match was deemed a no-contest after Hardy was spotted using inhalers during the round breaks.
Hardy was then beaten by Alexander Volkov via. unanimous decision. Following his defeat to Volkov, Hardy once again went on a two-fight win streak before being knocked out by Marcin Tybura in December last year.
Aiming for a comeback, Hardy suffered yet another loss, this time at the hands of Tai Tuivasa at UFC 264.
