Early life and introduction to MMA
In Abu Dhabi, he won the titles of professional world champion, jiu-jitsu world champion, and eight-time national champion. Along with joining the Brazilian wrestling cadet team and receiving Olympic wrestling instruction from Professor Waldeci, he also competed in the Pan American wrestling championships in Nicaragua, finishing in second place.
