From either a first-person or third-person point of view, Grand Theft Auto V is an action-adventure game. To progress through the story, players must complete missions. Outside of the missions, players may explore the open world freely. The world is much larger in area than previous entries in the series, consisting of the San Andreas open countryside, fictional Blaine County, and Los Santos. As the story progresses, more gameplay content is unlocked, but you can explore the game completely after its beginning.

Though players can play as any of the main characters, the more challenging robbery tasks necessitate the assistance of AI-controlled accomplices with specialized skill sets such as computer hacking and driving.

As a reward for surviving a successful heist, accomplices receive a cut of the reward and can use their unique skills for later missions. Players can choose between a stealthy subdue of civilians with an incapacitating agent or a conspicuous assault with guns drawn on a holdup mission. Things to keep in mind when you use the cheats

• You should always save your progress before using any cheat codes. If you use any cheat codes, you will lose Trophies and will need to reload your most recent game save (or reset your console) in order to regain them.
• The Digital Pad (d-pad) and button on your controller can be used to enter Grand Theft Auto 5 cheat codes, as well as the in-game cell phone.
