Want to know about the latest GTA VI leaks? Here is everything we know so far about GTA VI. Read till the end to know everything.
It’s been years since GTA fans are waiting for GTA VI. There have been lots of leaks and rumors, and it is always a question that whether they are fake or not. Recently, rumors about GTA VI have been popping up everywhere. There’s no telling what will happen in the game.
Fans have only heard one concrete piece of news from Rockstar so far: development is underway. GTA 5 was originally released in 2013, which means almost a decade has passed since the sequel was released. We’re going to take a look at the best GTA VI leaks and news to satisfy your curiosity.
The release date of GTA VI is subject to many rumors. Most of them point to a release date in 2024. The game appears to be expected to take at least another two years to release. It’s a pretty realistic forecast, which is further corroborated by Take-Two’s huge growth predictions.
The developer has spent several years figuring out exactly what Grant Theft Auto will look like, as stated in a recent Bloomberg report. GTA VI has been delayed by at least two years, giving it a 2024 release date. Given this long development time, they reckon it will release two years from now.
We have been getting our most solid GTA VI release date hint through Take-Two Interactive’s marketing budget, Rockstar’s parent company, for the past couple of years. This is only speculation but is in line with other reports and leaks from the past couple of years. In its 10-K SEC filing from 2020, Take-Two plans to spend $89 million on marketing between April 2023 and March 2024, a huge spike and more than half of what is expected for any other fiscal year during that time period.
Although Rockstar Games has kept GTA 6’s setting a complete secret so far, we have a slew of rumors and leaks to rely on. One of the first prominent theories was, that GTA VI would see the return of Vice City. It is possible that Rockstar will bring back Miami, the fictional version of the city.
GTA VI may bring back Liberty City and Los Santos from the original trilogy from the 2000s, which were reimagined in the previous two mainline games.
In a strange story about Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, a reporter and leaker sparked this rumor. Tom Henderson is one of many reporters and leakers who brought Vice City to light. Matheusvictorbr on Twitter claimed, after months of hot discussion, that the picture is indeed from GTA: Vice City after it has been hotly discussed for months.
Naturally, we can’t tell for sure at this point as it hasn’t been formally verified, so this is simply more conjecture.
There has also been speculation that GTA 6 will feature a female protagonist, which has been confirmed by Tom Henderson. Rockstar has yet to include this in any of its modern releases, other than multiplayer online modes, across Bully, Red Dead, and GTA. Bloomberg confirmed that GTA 6 will have a female lead. The report also revealed that Rockstar has “reformed its workplace culture.”
The report continued by stating that the Latina female lead protagonist in GTA 6 will be one of two protagonists who are both influenced by Bonnie and Clyde.
According to known leaker Tez2, GTA 6 could include single-player DLC. Tez2 addressed recent reports regarding the possibility of the game expanding over time in a recent post on the GTAForums, suggesting Rockstar will go back to how they were planning content before the success of GTA Online. According to Tez2, Rockstar will create the first new cities and missions for GTA 6 before the game’s release.
According to their explanation, this is to allocate resources towards the new game they plan to develop after VI is released. Moreover, the locations that will be included in this DLC will be “new cities or islands, such as the North Yankton or Cayo Perico styles. Rockstar might also add a fresh heist for the upcoming GTA Online mode with every new DLC in this way.
The developer didn’t share a trailer with its announcement of Grand Theft Auto 6, suggesting that it is taking a different approach to Grand Theft Auto 6’s reveal than it did with its previous titles. Rockstar Games teased an announcement a few days before releasing the first trailer for both GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2.
It is not known if there will indeed be a trailer for the game anytime soon, but Rockstar made it clear that it will not be teased nor announced with a trailer. Instead, the announcement was incorporated into a community post, making it difficult to predict whether or not there will be one.
It is also unknown whether the story itself was true beyond the Bonnie and Clyde stylized characters. The story of GTA 6 has been rumored to revolve around drug-running, drawing inspiration from Narcos and Tom Cruise’s Made in America, among other shows. A heavy emphasis on visual representations of changes in time as the story progresses will be given to the story, according to rumors. The story will also be told through chapters.
So these were all the GTA VI Leaks that you should be aware of for now. These are just leaks and there is no guarantee that it will be correct or not unless the officials give any confirmation.
