He has always been a lively presence in the midfield and City will need him to be at his best against Chelsea.
The diminutive Spaniard is the heartbeat of City’s attack and he will be expected to spark that creativity in the final third.
The Algerian bagged a goal and an assist against Watford and Guardiola will find it hard to bench him for Saturday’s clash.
He has been in red-hot form in recent weeks and has found the net on a consistent basis.
He picked up an assist in the last game and should start once again if Aguero doesn’t make it to the starting eleven.
