Check out our Hades Weapon Tier List where we have ranked every weapon in the game based on its overall usability in the game.
Players take control of Zagreus, Hades‘ son, as he seeks to escape the Underworld and reach Mount Olympus, sometimes with the help of gifts bestowed on him by the Olympians. Each run takes the player through a different set of chambers, each with its own set of foes and rewards. The game is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The game employs a hack-and-slash combat system, in which the player uses a mix of their main weapon assault, a special attack, dash power, and magic ability to fight enemies while avoiding harm in order to advance as far as possible. While Zagreus will frequently perish, the player can improve particular traits or earn new weapons and skills to boost their chances of surviving on following rounds. Here is our Hades Weapon Tier List.
Zagreus attacking strength is based on the weapon he uses. Players can select various different weapons in the game. Each weapon has its own advantages. Our Hades Weapon Tier List will help you choose the best weapons in the game for your runs.
Because the Aegis already has the great defense in the game, any additional attack will be beneficial. With just a few bouncing shields, this move can clear large areas, but more significantly, when cast adjacent to bosses, all five shields will hit the unit and promptly return to the player. Repeat the bull rush to get out of harm’s way, get to the boss’s backside, and repeat. The Aspect of Chaos is the game’s closest thing to an “Easy” setting.
This is without a doubt the winner of the popularity battle, and it is well-deserved. Homing special strikes are insanely powerful, allowing practically any boon to stack up to the maximum value in just two waves.
As one might expect in a roguelike game, lifesteal is regarded overpowered, and Hades is no exception. When a charged and ranged spin keeps Zagreus topped off, a 50% reduction in life and healing doesn’t matter.
Aegis users, who currently block all incoming damage, are unconcerned about taking 10% more damage. The Aspect of Beowulf, like the Aspect of Hera, adds the cast to the Dragon Rush, ensuring that any boon in this area is not wasted.
The bow’s weakest point is that the cast goes to waste because the attack and special are already in use. The Aspect of Hera not only brings the cast back to life, but it also does so without disrupting your rotation.
It’s odd to see a Stygius aspect ranked so high, yet people who practise it, rarely play anything else. It’s essentially a structure meant to support a large cast. This is generally weak because you’ll have to wait for your shard to be returned, but the Aspect of Poseidon will knock it out and return it to you immediately away.
With the Aspect of Demeter, it’s game over as soon as you get a damage-increasing boon on your special. Landing five specials at once will obliterate bosses and easily destroy anything else.
For Exagraph masters, this is the default option. You’ll have to use your special on yourself, but it’ll be well worth it in exchange for nearly double damage.
This aspect is frequently regarded as one of the worst, but Hades experts recognise its potential. Hellfire has an undisclosed bonus that causes damage to any unit near the orb over time.
When there’s a big boss with a lot of units around, this is the weapon to use. Simply use the special to kill the monster, then attack the minions. The boss will perish as a result of their mobs’ destruction.
The extra 15 damage is modest, but it makes little difference. The Aegis is overpowering and underappreciated. Many beginners despise it because instead of charging up, they spam the usual attack button. The block radius is a lot bigger than it needs to be. It doesn’t hit powerfully in this form, but it’s the greatest early option for winning the game by only a handful of runs.
This is the trait the Stygius requires in combat; something that boosts both melee and ranged protection.
When it comes to point-blank combat, placement is crucial. This forces enemies out of their comfort zones and into Zagreus’ range, making them more vulnerable to damage.
It can be difficult to use and position this feature, but practise makes perfect. It’s ideal for bosses who spend a lot of time standing still, as the shield will come to a halt and deal a lot of damage. Best of all, unlike the usual special, this Blitz Disc special does not restrict Zagreus from blocking.
A critical hit chance of 15% may not appear to be very high. Actually, it’s not much. This, however, is a tribute to Coronacht. The bow is a fan favorite for a reason, and even the initial aspect is in the top half of the game’s weapons.
For Exagraph masters, this is the default option. You’ll have to use your special on yourself, but it’ll be well worth it in exchange for nearly double damage.
The only drawback is that the Daedalus Hammer’s limitless ammo bonus might effectively render it obsolete. This initial feature of the Exagryph is a fantastic one for individuals who don’t want to keep reloading early and hoping for good luck later.
A 30% crit chance bonus is savage, and if it were on any other weapon, it would be a top-five ability. Nonetheless, it prevents the Stygius from feeling like a total mess.
Finally, an aspect that has no drawbacks. You’ll have to remember to reload manually, and the clip is somewhat small, but if you’re careful with your bursts, it’s a useful mini-nuke.
The first aspect of the Varatha can easily detract from the sensation of ranged battle. Even with the bonus, the attack is poor, and it restricts mobility. You’ll need to find a keepsake that can carry you if you persist on using this.
The dash charges are really useful, however the Maim effect isn’t applicable to bosses. Increasing their damage by 50% is a terrific way to lose a game.
This charged attack almost completely fills the screen. It’s difficult to position yourself without a knockback, and you’ll be vulnerable once the charge ends, but it’s useful for clearing trash hordes.
It’s insulting to receive only a 15% dodge bonus for a weapon that causes you to be completely defenceless. Even if you obtained every single legendary boon, this rubbish aspect may cause you to lose.
It’s the game’s initial weapon, so it’s no surprise that it’s ineffective. Thankfully, you’ll be able to move on from this before looking at how Heat and Pact of Punishment work.
This was our Hades Weapon Tier List. You can select the best weapon your run depending on your expertise and playstyle. It is important that you select weapons that are ideal for you otherwise it can get quite difficult.
