Published by

As per reports, the production team has not announced the Hawkeye Season 2 release date.

Clint Barton, played by Jeremy Renner in Hawkeye Season 1, finally has his own TV series and many fans hope there will be another season.

While initially described as a limited series, its entry in the comedy category for Emmy Awards season demonstrates its potential as a long-running series.

Jeremy Renner

Marvel Studios‘ first venture into television with Hawkeye is now streaming on Disney+ and stars Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton (AKA Hawkeye). Hailee Steinfeld stars as Kate Bishop (his love interest).

Tony Dalton plays Jack Duquesne while Vincent D’Onofrio stars as Kingpin, but perhaps most impressively Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova returns after helping Hawkeye foil Black Widow’s revenge plot in Season 1. Additionally, this series features episodes directed by Rhys Thomas (SNL) and Bert and Bertie of England – two outstanding directors!

Hailee Steinfeld

Hawkeye season 1 finale saw Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye join forces with Kate Bishop as his biggest supporter to take down a dangerous gang known as Tracksuit Mafia. It marked an exciting and satisfying year-long series run that came just in time for Christmas!

Fans are eagerly awaiting a second season of the Marvel TV series starring Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, with Tony Dalton, Fra Fee, Alaqua Cox Brian D’Arcy James Zahn McClarnon Vincent D’Onofrio as members of the Tracksuit Mafia.

Tony Dalton

While Hawkeye was originally advertised as a limited series, this doesn’t guarantee there won’t be another season. If renewed, several key actors such as Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld could return.

Given its success, it’s likely that the cast will remain constant in future episodes. Fra Fee and Aleks Paunovic’s characters as well as Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will likely return; furthermore Vincent D’Onofrio may return with Tracksuit Mafia members such as Kingpin. Additionally, the show also boasts an incredible ensemble cast.

Fra Fee

Hawkeye’s season one finale may have signaled the end for Clint Barton but still left open the possibility for future appearances on screen. Set photos have depicted Barton wearing hearing aids; his story may include him dealing with hearing loss.

Vera Farmiga will reprise her role of Eleanor Bishop, Kate’s mother. Alaqua Cox will portray Echo, a deaf Native American with extraordinary mimicry abilities who can perfectly imitate another person’s movements; Zahn McClarnon returns as Tracksuit Mafia leader Kingpin; Mad Men creator Jonathan Igla will serve as showrunner.

Brian d’Arcy James

Hawkeye made an excellent first impression, introducing Kate Bishop as an MCU hero and creating an enjoyable dynamic between Clint Barton and Kate – which fans would no doubt love to see again in season two!

Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova and their surrogate mother/daughter relationship was an enjoyable part of watching this show, as was its writing team’s ability not to force these characters into cliche dialogue or overstate their personalities.

Fans also expect Linda Cardellini (Lisa Barton) and Zahn McClarnon (Kazi) back as characters; Fra Fee’s Bolver and Alaqua Cox’s deaf superhero Echo could potentially appear, provided they’re not involved with spin-off projects of their own.

Aleks Paunovic

After a successful first season, it seems likely that Hawkeye will return for more adventures with Clint Barton and Kate Bishop. Some characters may leave, such as Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova likely being recruited by Kingpin for another mission.

Marvel fans are eagerly awaiting a sequel season of Hawkeye. Hailee Steinfeld’s Tweet this weekend led many to speculate that the show would return, given Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld’s fantastic chemistry as characters on Jonathan Igla’s series that also featured Tony Dalton, Fra Fee, Brian D’Arcy James Piotr Adamczyk Zahn McClarnon Simon Callow among others.

Piotr Adamczyk

Hawkeye featured an outstanding ensemble cast in its first season, creating ample opportunity for character development in any sequel season. Furthermore, creators could explore various themes — like Clint Barton’s hearing loss — in any subsequent sequel season of Hawkeye.

Renner’s character sustained serious injuries during his Lake Tahoe accident, so it will be interesting to see whether this leads to Barton becoming deaf later. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova could make another appearance. She and Hawkeye established an important bond during season one.

Linda Cardellini

Fans of Marvel’s TV offerings have eagerly anticipated the return of Hawkeye. After its successful premiere season, many viewers enjoyed it immensely and there are rumors of another season on its way.

The inaugural season of this show followed Clint Barton as he attempted to come to terms with his past mistakes while also introducing Kate Bishop as his replacement – giving the MCU its new heroine and providing an intriguing mentor/mentee relationship.

Although Disney+ has yet to confirm a second season for Loki and Falcon and Winter Soldier, both received renewals after debut.

Simon Callow

Although Marvel has yet to officially announce a second season of Hawkeye, viewers have clearly enjoyed its first installment. It introduced both Kate Bishop and Kingpin as new heroes of the MCU while featuring Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova and Alaqua Cox as Echo, who is deaf but also heroes.

Simon Callow will reportedly join the cast in an unannounced role, according to Cosmic Circus. Callow has an extensive resume, having appeared in Shakespeare in Love and Outlander among others.

Vera Farmiga

Vera Farmiga, best known for her roles on Bates Motel and The Conjuring, has been cast as Eleanor Bishop – mother of Kate Bishop in Disney+’s upcoming Marvel series. Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld will join Farmiga as stars.

Hawkeye season one seemed to wrap up Clint Barton’s storyline, while leaving room open for future installments. Alaqua Cox may return as Echo; however, Vincent D’Onofrio may not appear due to being set for an independent Marvel series called Beyond.
