He was productive and efficient on the court making him one of the top-performing players in his class. Not much is known about his time in High school so it can be said that he was a star player with stellar statistics and received offers from top-tier schools in the country. After wrapping up his high school career he committed to playing college basketball for Wheeling University.
Entering through the doors as a freshman at Wheeling University. as a part of the Wheeling Cardinals men’s basketball team, he wanted to dominate the court so he spent as much time as he could on the court and was hell-bent on improving his play. Since then, Highsmith has played for various NBA G League teams and has been a standout player for each team he’s been on.
