Hogwarts Legacy has many missions and chapters. You need to explore the castle to complete all challenges. Some challenges are puzzle-based where you need to complete certain objectives. Many of these challenges will help you to unlock several chests. Chests are a boon to students. You will get all resources, spells, and more items by unlocking these chests in the game. Eyeball Chests is one of the best chests in Hogwarts Legacy. By opening these eye chests, you will be able to collect unlimited Galleons.
Galleons are the primary currency in Hogwarts Legacy. With these Galleons, you get access to all spells, potions, seeds, plants, magic items, and more resources in the game. There are a couple of eyeball chests. You can acquire 500 Galleons in all eyeball Chests. Galleons or otherwise called as Gold, help you progress through the main story missions easily and quickly. All Hogwarts Legacy Eyeball Chests – Locations
Currently, you can find more than 10 eye chests in and around the Hogwarts Castle, Hogsmeade, and other locations. Here are all locations to find Eyeball chests in Hogwarts Legacy,
- Make your way to the Greenhouses location. You will find stairs near the trees of floo flames, use the stairs and get down to unlock the chest here.
- Next, you can visit the Bell Tower Wing in the Courtyard floo flame. Find the stairs and proceed further. Walk through the path and you will find the next chest.
- Visit Hogsmeade and get to the northern end near a pond. Find the floo flames and climb up through the stairs and find the next chest.
- Next, you can get to the Beasts Classroom. Find the floo flames and take the stairs to unlock the next eye chest in this zone
- Make your way to the floo flames in Viaduct Courtyard, The Great Hall. Take the stairs and walk on the path towards your right. Walk until you reach the chest location at the end of the path
- You can find one more chest at the underground locations of the Viaduct Courtyard in The Grand Hall
- Get to the Library Annex Floo Flame. Find the First Level Iron Gates and take the stairs. You can find the eyeball chest near the bookshelves.
- Travel to the Divination Classroom floo flame which is located at the same place as the Library Annex. Walk through the wooden pathway and get the next eye chest on your way
- You can find one eye chest inside the bathroom located closer to the Processor Fig’s classroom
- Get to the Map Chamber floo flame. Take the spiral staircase and find the next eyeball chest inside a room
- Now, you can make your way to Hogwarts Castle. Get to the Transfiguration Courtyard floo flame and find the eye chest near a building.
- Next quickly teleport to the floo flames located closer to the Lower Grand Staircase in the Grand Staircase location. Take the stairs and turn left once you find a statue. You can find the next eyeball chest here inside a room
- Visit the Clock Tower Courtyard and unlock the next chest inside a room on the 2nd floor.
- Enter the Quad Courtyard and use the stairs on the left of the Floo Flames. Walk for some time and find the next chest towards the end
- Get to the Slytherin Dungeon and unlock the second door. You will get another chest here after reaching Alohomora Level 2
- Visit the Faculty Tower in The South Wing. Unlock the level 3 door and find the eyeball chest inside the next
- Get to the Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom which is located near the Astronomy Wing. Take the stairs, walk, and find the next eyeball chest here near the wizard statue.
These are the locations to unlock all eye chests in Hogwarts Legacy. There are some requirements before you can get your hands on the chest rewards.
How to Unlock Eyeball Chests in Hogwarts Legacy?
You have to unlock the Disillusionment Spell to unlock all Eyeball Chests. This makes you go invisible and you can easily unlock all eye chests at all restricted locations in and around the Library, Hogsmeade Valley, and Hogwarts Castle. Complete the Secrets of the Restricted Section main quest to unlock the Disillusionment Charm and learn about this spell from the Slytherin Student, Sebastian Sallow at the Central Hall.

You can unlock 500 Gold inside every eyeball chest. Use these Gold Coins to unlock all Collectibles and Resources in Hogwarts Legacy. You can easily earn more than 5,000 Galleons by unlocking all Hogwarts Legacy eye chests.
