Hogwarts Legacy is an upcoming action RPG that explores the Harry Potter universe before he ever set foot in there. The game is set in the 1800s, almost 2 decades before the Harry Potter series began. It is also 100 years before the Fantastic Beasts characters appeared in the universe.
You can create your own character and embark on an adventure into your favourite locations and discover fantastic beasts, craft potions, upgrade talents and become the wizard you always wanted to be.
According to the official website, your character will be a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. You can protect the secret for the greater good or give in to the dark magic.
Hogwarts Legacy Gameplay
The story of the game is a new one. According to reports, J. K. Rowling was not at all associated with the project. Since the events of the game take place before the existing story, it is safe to assume that none of the book characters will return.
You will be able to choose your character, voice and gender. It will also include trans genders. It is great news after J. K. Rowlings transphobic tweets. They have also removed the sorting hat and you have to choose your house. The focus will be on the RPG element and not on the houses.
Hogwarts Legacy Release Date
The game was supposed to be released in 2021. But the release date has been pushed to 2022. It can be said that it is for the better. As a rushed and unpolished game is disappointing as it is. But fans are hoping that the studio will not let them down.
Hogwarts Legacy PC requirements
The game is expected to release on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC. The minimum requirements for the PC are:

- RAM: 8 GB
- OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
- VIDEO CARD: AMD Radeon R9 290 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or better
- DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 4096 MB
The Hogwarts Legacy will be a new game with a fresh story. Fans are excited about this new entry into the Harry Potter universe.
