Holly Holm has been a stalwart in the fighting scene and first made a name for herself in boxing. The Preacher’s Daughter, as she is called, won several boxing titles before making her way to the world of mixed martial arts.

Holm was a dominant figure in her boxing career and finished her career with a record of 32-2-3. She also won several boxer/fighter of the year titles during her time in the ring and is an inductee of the International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame. Hold defended her boxing titles (across multiple divisions) 18 times and is ranked by the BoxRec as the second-best female professional boxer of all time.

She jumped into the MMA world while she was still boxing and made her debut in 2011. She retired from boxing in 2013 and was unbeaten inside the cage during that time.

Holm won the Legacy FC Women’s Bantamweight title in 2014 and then made her UFC debut.

She notched up a couple of big wins before facing Ronda Rousey and shocking the world. Holm defeated Rowdy via a KO and became the new Women’s Bantamweight Champion.

While she lost the title in her next fight, The Preacher’s Daughter has continued to fight and is now on a two-fight winning streak.

Holm might not have kept the UFC belt for long, but she has done more than enough to be considered a great in the MMA circle.

Holly Holm Net Worth and Payouts

Holly Holm has a reported net worth of $ 4 million thanks to her boxing and MMA career. This is certainly an impressive figure given some of the disparity in the earnings for male and female fighters, but Holm was one of the top boxers in the world at one time, so that must have helped her in terms of payouts.

The Preacher’s Daughter has had some huge payouts in her career but surprisingly the win over Rousey wasn’t her biggest.

Holm earned $180,000 in that win at UFC 193 but her next fight saw her take home $540,000 despite losing the title to Miesha Tate at UFC 196.

At UFC 239, Holm made $330,000 in a loss to another MMA great, Amanda Nunes. In her last fight, at UFC Fight Night: Holm vs Aldana, The Preacher’s Daughter took home $230,000 after a dominant win.

In all, The Preacher’s Daughter has career earnings of $ 2.37 million.

Holly Holm MMA and UFC Record

Holly Holm currently boasts an MMA record of 14 wins and 5 losses. She came into the UFC with a record of 7-0 and was a Legacy FC Women’s Bantamweight Champion.

However, she is 7-6 in her time in the UFC. Holm made her debut in MMA with a win over Christina Dome in March 2011.

Her UFC career started off well with a split decision win over Raquel Pennington at UFC 184. She then beat Marlon Reneau at UFC Fight Night: Mir vs Duffee before she shocked the world by handing Rousey her first-ever loss at UFC 193.

Holm then lost three on the spin to Tate, Valentina Shevchenko and Germaine de Randamie before defeating Bethe Correia. Cris Cyborg defeated holm at UFC 219 before The Preacher’s Daughter beat Megan Anderson.

She picked up another loss to Nunes at UFC 239 before beating Pennington again at UFC 246 and then beating Irene Aldana in her latest fight.

She lost to Ketlen Vieira in the main event of UFC Fight Night 206.

Holm will now face Yana Kunitskaya in March 2023.
