Horizon Forbidden West PC Requirements have been revealed and we are here to break it down for our readers.
As Playstation is making its way to the PC by releasing a lot of its exclusives on the PC, let us look at the Horizon Forbidden West PC Requirements. A tweet released by Nixxes Software on their official account has revealed the Horizon Forbidden West PC Requirements with the minimum settings to the very high setting.
A website called “Can you run it?” helps players with detecting their PC hardware and giving them the recommended settings to run their games. The tweet showed a similar breakdown for players to understand and run the game.
When it came to the prequel, the PC port of Horizon Zero Dawn was a great success. With better graphics and performance than the PS4 version, Horizon Zero Dawn’s PC release opened up the popular open-world game to a wider audience. Higher resolutions and framerates allowed PC players to enjoy the game’s captivating gameplay, complex story, and breathtaking graphics.
To further enhance player customization, the PC version also came with a few more features like support for ultrawide monitors, enhanced reflections, and unlocked framerates. Overall, both gamers and critics praised Horizon Zero Dawn’s PC version, which helped the game’s popularity spread beyond the PlayStation system.
This setting barely runs the game at 30 frames per second at 720p resolution, but honestly this is not recommended for an average gamer as the feel of Horizon Forbidden West is lost in translation. If gamers just want a passable experience, this setting is the go-to option for gamers. Not recommended though.
Yes, there is a reason that this setting is names recommended as it would arguably give an elite performance when running on the PC. The biggest update is the 60 frames per second as it is standard for video games nowadays and the bump in resolution is also a big plus and it jumped from 720p to 1080p. Horizon Forbidden West is a beautifully crafted game and there is a lot to digest so this setting should be the optimum one.
This is for true gamers who want to savor every ounce that this gem has to offer. The graphics settings range from 1440p at 60 frames per second or 4k resolution at 30 frames per second. Honestly, as a casual gamer myself, I do not see a huge difference but hardcore gamers who want to flex their hardware might enjoy this setting.
Across all settings, a few things are common such as the RAM which is 16 GB, and Storage space required i.e. around 150 GB. Even the operating system is Windows 10 or higher. The main difference comes from the GPU and processer which makes a huge difference in the gaming experience. This is common for all games released in this generation.
