The initial rounds of the 2021 WWE Draft took place on SmackDown but how many rounds are left?
WWE Draft 2021 kicked off last night on SmackDown, October 1, giving Raw and smackDown rosters a chance to receive a new alteration of brands. The draft is going to continue till Monday Night Raw, October 4.
The first night of the WWE Draft began last night on SmackDown, which had a total of four rounds so, it is pretty clear that WWE Draft on Raw will have at least four or more than four rounds since it’s a 3-hour show. The October 4, Monday Night Raw is going to take place in Nashville, Tennesse.
The results of these drafts will come into effect from the beginning of the October 22 episode of SmackDown. Half of the Roster was eligible for night 1, and the other half will be for night 2, which gives every individual the chance to change brands.
On October 1, it was confirmed that wrestlers from NXT could also be drafted to either Raw or SmackDown, which makes it more attractive in the first place.
The Night’s No.1 overall draft pick was The Universal Champion Roman Reigns, along with Paul Heyman. For the first round, the other big name that came across was The WWE Champion Big E.
He is drafted to Raw from SmackDown. The other two superstars drafted in Round 1 are Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, recruited from Raw to SmackDown, and Bianca Belair, who got drafted to Raw.
For Round 2, Drew McIntyre was drafted to SmackDown, and The New Day got drafted from Raw to SmackDown, splitting them from Big E. Additionally, the Rated-R-Superstar Edge gets drafted to Raw from SmackDown.
Round 3 and 4 saw the Hit Row stable and Austin Theory being drafted to SmackDown from NXT, and Jeff Hardy gets drafted to SmackDown.
