Every chapter in The Mimic has different challenges and overcoming puzzles can be tricky. The Control’s Chapter 1 is the first phase which can be challenging for beginners. The plot begins in a high school where many doors are trapped. You have to get to the back door entrance and find a way to enter the gymnasium. Once you enter the locker room, it will be easy to locate the gym. There will not be many ghosts inside rooms at the back entrance. From the gym, you have to enter the room on the left. You have to find some keys that can be used to exit the high school.
Inside the gym area, there will be a ghost. But there’s only one way to exit the door and you have to find keys to unlock them. If you spot chairs and tables on the ground, then there’s a ghost in that zone and you can avoid entering that area. As you enter other rooms, you will spot crying women and more creepy things. This confirms the paranormal activities inside the gym area. The next spot is the music room.
From the music room, you will be able to find a hallway that leads you underground. There’s a twist when you enter the underground area as all doors will be closed. You have to walk forward till you spot the red light. Avoid entering the red light zone as the weeping woman will be there. Before the red light zone, you can take the right and find the door to exit.
Once you exit, you will land in a town which is another dark zone. In the town area of The Mimic, there will be lots of houses and book shops, but no people will come to your rescue. You have to walk until you spot a bridge that leads you to the House of Death.
After you enter inside this house, you have to overcome mazes. The first step is to find the white door and enter inside. Ghost presence will be higher in this house and you have to avoid and walk. The first objective is to search for the key to unlock the hidden room.
A ghost woman will start singing and you have to avoid entering that room. Take the first left room and you will enter the house of maze. On one of the left side mazes, you will find a small ghost on the ground and you have to walk forward and collect the key. The challenge in the House of Death is difficult as you will spot multiple exits. The ghost will roam inside the maze room and you have to run after spotting one. Ghost will keep following you and getting caught will only result in elimination.
The door to exit is available in a small maze where you can find the door near a lamp. Once you find the exit, the House of Death chapter will be completed. Once you exit, there will be lots of grass and trees. You have to progress further in the area. Ghosts will make their way to the area again and you have to run from them. The next area will be a small village.
The Village will have lots of closed small houses and there will be no one to help you again. This stage is crucial to progress to the next chapters of The Mimic. You have to find a way to survive the dark night. There will be a cave and you can enter the deep area of the cave to stay till the morning. Inside the cave, there will be many ghost statues. Once you are close towards these statues, they will turn into ghosts.
At the end, you will find a small house. Avoid entering the house and walk further to find the shutter door. You have to pull the lever to unlock the door. After crossing the shutter, you will find a scary house and another ghost will peek out from the second floor. You have to find the staircase to reach the underground tunnels. Once you reach underground, walk towards the left and enter inside the door to reach the hotel. The final part of the first chapter of The Mimic will take place inside the Hotel.
Once you reach the Hotel, you will find closed rooms. Ghost will arrive again in the final part as well. The first task is to find an elevator. Once you land, you can walk in the pathway and go towards the right side. A ghost with a guitar will chase you on this stage. You have to keep running and reach the floor where you can find the blueprint map.
The map will reveal spots where there are ghosts. You have to avoid entering zones that are marked in white spots. Also, you will find green vines on your way. Hiding in green vines is safe and you will avoid getting trapped. You have to keep walking in the hallway and find the exit zone using the map.
At the last phase, you have to run from the ghost and move towards the opposite sides. You will reach the elevator and then you can escape the hotel and complete the first chapter.
