How to Beat Leader Sierra

It is necessary to defeat six Team Rocket Grunts to receive the honour of battling Sierra. Each Grunt will grant you a Mysterious Component. You can then combine these components to build a Rocket Radar to locate a Rocket Leader. It’s hard to win a battle against a Rocket Leader because they use monsters that are much stronger than their Grunts. Sierra must constantly shift her counters as her team changes, making it a constant struggle.

As well as having high CP monsters, hers have bulky Pokemon, so it’s often best to bring those as well. If you use super-effective moves, you can easily beat her, but bulky Pokemon are even better. Sierra’s defeat can not only offer you a glimpse of a shiny Nidoran (F), but can also grant you an Egg of the Strange 12km variety and aid in the completion of the research quest A Seven-Colored Shadow.

It is also possible to capture the Shadow Pokemon of Team Go Rocket Leader, the Shadow Squirtle. When defeating Sierra, players can capture the Shadow Squirtle, but how easy it is will depend on your performance.
